THIS. People need to stop mischaracterising characters because they want a certain trope.

Not to be a hater but i kinda hate the characterization of Aventio/Ratiorine as "aventurine is broken and ratio wants to fix him" cuz it just feels demeaning to aventurine. Hes not "broken" and he doesnt "need fixing" and definitely doesnt need to be "saved" by Some Priviliged Guy ugh. Like i totally understand if its projection and u wanna daydream abt sexy man taking care of u i get it but it just feels so OOC and wrong and i dont like the idea that someone is broken and needs fixing if theyre traumatized (no hate tho do what u want people)
