Fragrances

This is different from the last post and the topic of today is fragrances and why you should try to step it up.

Fragrances are something versatile and something that can please you and others. It’s also fun to collect and experience. It’s time for kids to transfer from axe. Vitoria secret or pink is an okay choice of brand to go for in all honesty, but it may be nice to step away from it once a while.

Now when buying fragrance please keep in mind where you’ll be using it, why, and also keep your pockets in mind. We don’t want to waste our wallet on fragrances, there’s usually good substitutes for the good brands.

Guys-

So for the guys, once you step away from axe let’s list some others you may want to step away from.

Now some of you may be like “Woah, how are these bad- I use these!” Well, that’s half of the reason why. See the issues with these is that some of them have been reformulated meaning they don’t really smell the same as they used to. Another reason is that the performance isn’t that good. Lastly like you said, you use it and guess what... so does everyone else. Now I’m not saying the others will make you individualistic but they are slightly better options.

Some popular options

Creed aventus-

A little pricey but one of the top of the markets for sure

Bleu de Chanel-

It’s a great, affordable, and safe option to buy. It’s not too loud or bold, it’s calm and organic smelling. Remember to buy the eau de toilette version. The others are not that good in comparison.

Armani code-

Overall fresh new, great product and it smells like a mix of the best brands.

Ladies-

Now scents for females aren’t typically categorized and said to be strayed away from. The main thing to look for is when trying to stay away from fragrances is if it doesn’t last long. The reason I say maybe step away from Victoria secret is that some scents are very similar and poor performing.

Some good options are

Dolce & Gabanna Light blue intense-

This is a wonderful scent, I recommend this one better than the regular light blue version as the intense is better performing.

Versace Dylan blue-

It’s a very nice fragrance and I’d recommend it as its sweet and versatile. Because it’s versatile it can be worn summer, winter, spring, fall, anytime.

Carolina Herrera-

Another great fragrance, very sweet and fresh. It’s also versatile for all seasons and has great performance.

Girls and boys

A little note please pay attention labels on bottles like cologne, parfum, toilette, etc. They actually do mean different things and don’t be afraid to smell different. One thing is that a lot of people would recommend that males don’t wear female perfumes and the same vice versa, this isn’t simply for some sexist reason. Our bodies react differently to each fragrance and they were modeled to do so. If males want to smell a little sweeter they can, these scents are typically party fragrances but they don’t have to be. A great option would be Versace Eros or Jean Paul Gaultier le male(a classic). Females can also smell more masculine if they want, there are definitely options. Calvin Klein or Ck one is a great unisex option. However, performance is low (performance means how long something lasts btw) perhaps as a result of adjusting to both genders.

Journey to the west

This is a story that is a piece of Chinese mythology. I am one who is a fan of mythology and I find this piece is one that to an extent resonates with me and can be learned from.

The story is truly about finding enlightenment and the main character is actually the monk Tang Sanzang, yet the story heavily focuses on the monkey. This monkey is Sun wukong, for some to your surprise you’ve already seen portals of him in some form of entertainment.

Example- Popular anime brings us Goku who they also call Sun Wukong

Example 2- A popular Webtoon called the god of high school who goes by mori Jin but also known as the monkey king.

Now down to some details, the monkey I’ve introduced is no ordinary monkey. He is one born from a rock. He awakens on a mountain in which in the area he finds other monkeys. He eventually becomes the monkey king as he faced nature’s adversity in order to help his monkey friends. He walks through a waterfall everyone else feared and finds a glamorous home for him and his monkey friends to live in. With this, he is able to settle down and live in peace. However the monkey doesn’t want to, he gets a thought and decides he wants to be immortal. The monkey decides to leave his mountain and set off to find a sage who will teach him how to obtain immortality.

Long story short he finds the sage and trains under him, the sage names him Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong learns all there is to learn and now he must leave but he leaves a new monkey. He now has magical capabilities, these capabilities allow him to have the strength to challenge gods (which eventually he does)

This is where I’ll stop telling the story. I’m not a storyteller so it’s best to hear the story elsewhere. I’ve only said parts that may appear not so appealing but you can expect incredible feats from this monkey like: 1)The monkey lifting a staff 17,550 pounds 2)The monkey forcibly crossing his name out a book determining one's death day. 3)The monkey lifting mountains, fighting dragons, stealing from gods, etc
