I’ve seen people here making blogs for themselves and I guess I wanted to join in on it so hi

My name is Michael Mike for short although I don’t mind either but if you’re gonna say my last name with it I’d prefer you use Michael because Mike Rohave sounds too much like Microwave… my sister Penny was the one who suggested the name Michael she must have thought she was being real funny and my own folks must not have put two and two together or else they did- and anyways that was a long rant about a 14 year old joke…

I live in Tulsa it’s this town in Oklahoma I’ve lived there since I was seven and it’s okay I guess. A bit violent… oh did I say something? it’s a good place to live the people are very friendly.

I like to read I guess books are nice and they’re almost otherworldly.

Michael lore (will rewrite this soon)

-Michael is neither a greaser nor a Soc both personality wise and status wise, he was too well off to be considered a greaser and not privileged enough to be considered a Soc. he’s too cowardly and cautious too be a greaser and he’s too awkward and modest (?) too be a Soc.

-Hes a quiet person who keeps to himself and the socs and greasers are too focused on their inner and outer conflicts too even focus on what group he belongs too.

-Michael is somewhat friendly to both socs and greasers he doesn’t mind either side but he prefers to stay outside of their conflicts. he’s kind of invisible to them with the most interactions between him and other characters being him lending Ponyboy Curtis a pencil for maths class or smiling at Cherry Valance on one Monday morning where he was feeling someway optimistic.

-Michael had an okay upbringing his parents weren’t physically abusive although they were somewhat neglectful towards him and his emotional needs.

-the main characters of the outsiders don’t really know him that well the only thing they really know is that he’s that one kid in Pony’s class who’s name is literally microwave.

-kids used to pick on him for his name and call him microwave which really annoyed him.

-he had an unrequited crush on Ponyboy in seventh grade he was drawn to his intelligence and impulsive nature although he could never bring up the courage to talk to or befriend him.

-Michael is a bit of a sheep he struggles to form his own opinions and follows whatever concept will prevent him from being harmed by both sides.

-he’s a bit of a gossip girl he enjoys listening in on other people’s conversations to catch the latest drama.

-he’s a bit of a nerd he knows alot of facts about history, space and other random stuff.

-he wears a lot of polo shirts and sometimes jean jackets.
