Climbing is ez. Still healing up the broken leg. Still haven’t found much enjoyment with climbing but it’s all I can really do atm. Been thinking about summer goals so that’s something to look forward to. Don’t break a big bone yall

One of the best climbs I’ve ever done. It was the perfect combination of technicality, tension, mobility, and balance.
I don’t have much stoke for indoor climbing right now, so going outside to try this super overhung roof was just what I needed ☺️ also first of the outdoor grade!

I’m such a douche bag lol. One of my favorite things in climbing is a no hands knee bar!

From a couple weeks back. Still have a broken leg (spiral tibia fracture) but I just got the ok to start transitioning out of the boot. Still have to avoid impacts for several weeks so if I boulder I’ll likely wear the boot but for lead climbing, I’ll opt for shoes if it’s overhung.
It’s been a long fucking journey dealing with this shit. 13 weeks total as of today, but I’m glad things are getting better, slowly but surely. Relearning to walk has been tough and I like to joke that climbing is much easier than walking currently, which isn’t far from the truth. I’m hoping to be walking somewhat normally in August and start getting back to doing the things I love with much more ease.
I won’t lie, it’s fun to know that I can climb a lot better than most able body folks lol but I’d love my right leg back asap. Also been fun the last 2.5 months challenging myself with 1 legged climbing. Pretty proud of myself for doing V7 on kilter and tension boards, as well as onsighting a 5.12a on lead last week!

As much as I hate this injury, it’s a fun challenge to gently push myself and see what I can do
