whoa am i making another post? that's crazy! anyways uhh showcasing a little mini-story i made for the wip OVERTURN AU. also uhh this isn't really my usual writing style im just experimenting to see whether it looks cool or not.

The Underground

NEW HOME

[Chara was sitting criss-cross on the bed, reading a book that was mainly about snails but also had information about other types of similar bugs. They had a bored face, and eventually they just fell back and laid down on the bed, staring towards the ceiling since they had nothing else better to do. Soon enough, a voice was heard right beside them.]

Flowey: "Well, well. Look who hasn't hit the hay yet." [Flowey calls out.]

Chara: [Chara looks over at Flowey, who was sitting on top of their drawer.] "Oh, hey Azzy."

Flowey: "Yeah, hey. I hope you do realize that you need rest for the scouting mission tomorrow. Undyne would be pissed if she figured out you stayed up all night again."

Chara: [They sigh] "I know.. I just have been thinking a lot lately about that new human that fell down here."

Flowey: "The new human? You mean Frisk? That insufferable brat?"

Chara: "Hey, don't call them a brat! But yeah, I mean Frisk, I honestly don't get what's their deal with us.."

Flowey: "Isn't it obvious, Chara? They're a douchebag, that's their problem."

Chara: "Yeah, but I can't help but feel like there's more than meets the eye; they were literally cast out of human society like I am. But unlike me, they keep insisting about how they love humanity and would rather go back than stick around with some 'lowly monsters'; I just don't get it.."

Flowey: "Wooow. For someone who hates humanity, you sure feel pretty bad about another human." [He replies with a sarcastic tone in his voice.]

Chara: "Oh shut up, we have six other human teenagers here, and they're all pretty cool. Not all humans are bad; I learned that long ago. But humanity as a whole still kinda suck."

Flowey: "Yeah, that's true, but only because they proved and showed that they are good people. Unlike the brat who just insults the monster race at every chance they get, honestly, it's getting really repetitive now from how often they do it."

Chara: "Look, I just think that maybe we're a little harsh on the new human. They're not like the others, y'know? Maybe they're just uncomfortable or have a hard time adjusting to the things going on."

Flowey: "If that's really the case, why don't we just send them back? They clearly state that they would rather be with humans than live with us."

Chara: "Papyrus says it's too risky; they could easily tell the others about our numbers and defenses. We've been laying low for a while, so bringing them back would probably ruin everything we worked hard for."

[Chara sighs and looks down, changing their expression into one filled with empathy.]

Chara: "Besides, I don't think they'd actually want to go back either."

[Flowey stares at Chara for a couple of seconds before sighing.]

Flowey: "You're such an idiot, you know that?"

Chara: "Says the talking flower who used to be a crybaby."

Flowey: "Because you kept doing irrational things that made me worry all the damn time. But yeah, I guess I can see your point about Frisk, but.."

Chara: "But?"

Flowey: "Do you really think that they're not as much of a jerk as they seem to be?"

Chara: [He would make a reassuring smile.] "I'm positive. After all, even though we are like polar opposites.."

"It feels like I'm seeing myself through a mirror."

i kinda had this empty account since 2019 and never did anything with it but now im just gonna use this to talk about my undertale aus and stuff, even if people don't really get to see any of this it's still cool to log my stuff

anyways uhh lemme just list my aus rq and give them each a short explanation

Dusttale: A Different Approach

- Basically a combination of Something New & Dusttale, the player finishes a genocide route and wants to take a different approach to the game. They rewrite and alter majority of the game's code until they managed to control Sans and play as him, however Sans is still conscious and becomes the narrator instead of Chara. The player attempts to do a pacifist route but Frisk was seen moving around and basically starts doing a genocide route on their own, oooooo. Spooky. So the player decided that the best course of action was to kill everyone and become stronger while also preventing Frisk to get any more LV.

Storyshift: A Tale Amongst Legends

- Several neutral routes takes place and Chara gets pissed off so they meet Shifty at around Waterfall and start battling. Eventually Chara gets tired of Shifty trying to toy with their world so they attempt to reset but Shifty also tries to as well. Causing a massive collision between the two resets and changed their world drastically, Asriel now has mental breakdowns, King Sans is over 10 feet tall now, and the barrier never existed in the first place, basically everyone became different whether it was little or significant. Chara couldn't find Shifty anywhere so they just accepted this changed world of theirs and lived their life as normal, until a blond "drama queen" was brought into the story.

(This AU is actually my friend's instead of mine but I kinda work like the co-owner and writer of it so eh, plus my friend said it was cool to talk about it here so here we are)

OVERTURN

- Story is still WIP but basically the barrier was shattered long ago thanks to W.D Gaster Skeleton and the rest of his team and monsterkind decided to keep living in Mount Ebott. Due to this, the seven previous children weren't killed and instead taken cared of. They're also kind-of in another war in some way idk me and my pals have to think about that.

(Recently made AU me and my two best friends are cooking up rn, kinda inspired by EPICTALE)

A DIFFERENT TALE

- Basically an AU where me and my friend's OCs were just self-inserted into the UNDERTALE universe in a way. A bunch of races had a world war and humanity won, the humans locked the war prisoners and experimented on some of them and treated them very harshly, studying them into getting more power. However this formed an uprising and created an entire united army known as the Resistance, some humans joined this army while the rest of humanity stayed together and fought against the Resistance in this second war. Humanity once again won and sent their strongest "heroes" to banish the Resistance army into a pocket dimension, which was basically an island on a neverending ocean.

yeah uhh you can criticize or whatever idrc im just showing off because i can lol, maybe if i get enough followers i can do some ask blog thingy within one of my aus, that would be nice
