the way taylor swift makes music specifically for nostalgic people is so special to me. she makes music for people who rewatch their favorite movie and know every line by heart and reread their favorite books and underline their favorite lines to come back and read it later. like she just went “well i’m going to re-record every single one of the albums i don’t own” and besides the excitement for her owning her music everyone wanted to listen to the same songs they already knew by heart because of how mature taylor’s voice would sound, or because of what singing about her past would mean to her. and i think the way we’re all very sensitive about it all together is so beautiful :’)

Can we talk about how perfect this tiny bit was from the teaser because

First of all, almost all 6 ahhhh

But also regardless of what that flash of light is, their character reactions are so spot on

Kaz is looking directly at it and doesn’t flinch, impassive

Of the others, Inej notices first, turns her head faster and doesn’t flinch, maybe slight concern

Nina and Jesper notice next and redirect their attention, also no flinch but a slight eyebrow raise from Jesper

Wylan notices last and distinctly flinches away

It’s mostly that I noticed Wylan’s reaction and how distinctly different it is than the other crows, which makes so much SENSE

Anyway the point is both that I’m obsessed and that this cast is so GOOD

freddy carter really gave us the most book accurate kaz brekker, I had chills during this scene.

Y’all we need to appreciate Freddy Carter and Daisy Head.

Their performances as Kaz and Genya had me speechless. Especially Daisy, some of the best acting I’ve seen in a long time.

The whole cast is truly perfect, one of the best adaptation casts EVER. And everyone’s acting was brilliant. One thing about this season that can NOT be criticized is how phenomenal the performances were from these actors. Every last one of them. Not a weak link among them.
