I decided to start my blog anew because I was getting extremely discouraged with this one. The URL is still the same, @avistella (it’s just this particular blog’s URL that’s changed to free up the old one)

For now, the moved blog is password-protected as I move/ revamp things and as I try to get back into the swing of things as I’ve been going through a very tiring depressive episode. I will open it up to the public once more when I feel I am ready to do so.

Tales of Autumn Festival 2019 at Kotobukiya!

Today is the start of this event, themed after school festivals that are popular this time of the year!

Due to limited space in my stomach, I didn’t try everything on the menu when I came here for dinner. They were all good though–cream gyudon, banana parfait, omega elixir, and raspberry juice. I’m definitely going to come back for that cream gyudon, ehe.

The Instagram clear cards are really cute in terms of design! They should do more of it in the future, I say.

As for the mini-games, the badminton game for the character motif straps wasn’t too bad, I managed to get what my friend wanted in the given tries (since you can hit any of the targets, and they weren’t too widely spaced, thankfully). On the other hand, the plate-throwing/frisbee game (where you had to assemble the character’s order and throw it on a table essentially), was tricky for me as someone who is poor at gauging throw strength. My throws were too strong and kept slipping past the table, aha…

The donut keychains are super cute in person, and I really couldn’t resist getting a second copy of the Jade one. If you want your own copy and/or are interested in checking out what I have for sale, please check my sales post for this event.!

Any time I draw a “witch costume”, it’s literally just a gothic lolita-esque dress with typical Halloween colours asdfhjlk;;; also I laughed way too hard at that pun. I love lame jokes/ puns way too much hah
