Got to stage 1 of Warner Bros. Video editing internship application after passing the initial screening pog
Edit: Didn’t get it sadge. Really knocks it out of you applying, writing literal essays to try and progress to a 2nd stage interview…then getting rejection after rejection on top of living in a toxic af environment you have no way of moving out of. Really makes me wonder if I should have spent more time enjoying my teens/early 20s than focusing on academics if this was the result.
#pray for me that I get the placement so I can gtfo of my toxic and borderline abusive dad’s home#I need out so bad#I guess if anyone wants me to do some freelance editing hmu???#I can send examples of uni work if someone is genuinely interested#or comm for art so moving out isn’t a pipe dream

I do have a preference for a couple of them, but obv feedback from people other than myself very helpful for at least narrowing down 🙏 bonus of WIPs/concepts under cut that I scrapped + some lore/worldbuilding
Lore/worldbuilding:
Named after the fact they had a mating pair that regularly hunted/lived around the area,
In 1980s red kites were one of three globally threatened species in the UK + 1990 the UK had a only a few dozen red kites
Garage opened in the 80s under the previous buisness owner but Pike took over in the mid 90s
Pike & previous business owner both have soft spot for the birds + donate to conservation efforts

Working on comic stuff but guess just want a general feel for what'll look best once I get to the line/"inking" stage
thin line art (is closest I could get in CSP to what I normally do in PS)
slightly thicker (easier to see line work?) Stuff under spoiler is just a test with hatching (doesn't translate well with medium/dark tones + hell to do for every panel) + the cleaned sketch sketch before lining
#15 pages in clean sketch stage out of 22 for chapter 1#well I'm already over page est so looking closer to 25 once done#so will prob split into 2 once done for algo shit#3 chapters written + 2nd half/end of arc planned#I just suck at drawing fast to clean up sketches so they can be lined#also still need to think of name for comic but got time as I draw way too slow rn sadge#Nightbreak#Nightbreak webcomic#character art#digital art#My art
