Reports on the internet suggest that the iPhone 14, like its predecessors, will be receiving a processing chip upgrade. Apple will be introducing its latest powerhouse processor, the A16 chip; however, leaks also suggest that only the pro variant of the iPhone 14 will feature the newest chip, whereas the regular variants will opt for an A15 Bionic chip, the same as the iPhone 13. The A15 Bionic could be clocked higher than last year’s devices.

We call them grandparents cause they have the power to say “yes” even when our parents say “no”. When everyone was worried about what to do and how to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, there were some carefree grandparents who neglected the crisis and focused on learning and playing video games. You won’t believe it, but these guys, especially the ones in the 55-64 age group, have broken some records and emerged as the fastest-growing demographic of gamers.
Being a guy who prefers public transportation to commute, I’ve seen a lot of drama happening around, especially in the local trains of Mumbai. One day, I was commuting from Dadar to Mulund, and then at one station, a guy in his 60s boarded the train and sat next to me. He laid back in his seat and started playing Call of Duty instead of opening the newspaper like regular older people. I was amazed, what a GRAND moment it was, unbelievable!

Canon’s latest super tank printers have been a favourite amongst small & medium-sized business users. Keeping this demography as the main focus point, Canon has introduced its MAXIFY GX6070 series with a lot of ink, enough for around 6000 mono and 14000 colouring pages.
Moreover, this printer can print on various textures and print surfaces and ensures businesses do not need to buy different printers when there is a need to switch between envelopes, labels, glossy paper, and banner paper. Equipped with an ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), it can easily hold up to 100 documents at a time to process. Also, the convenience of not just printing but even scanning, copying and faxing makes it a versatile all-rounder printer to have.
How are the overall Design and Build quality?
Weighing close to 11.6kgs, it definitely isn’t a small device which restricts its portability, knowing that a printer’s placement is hardly changed in a corporate environment. The white boxy look is pretty contemporary with room for 250 sheets in the main paper tray, 100 sheets in the tray at the rear and another 100 sheets in the ADF.
It is sturdy and well-built with a tiltable touchscreen to control all its functions. The translucent ink tanks are large enough to hold a substantial amount of ink, which eliminates downtime as compared to its cartridge alternative. Even the paper output tray is comparatively larger than usual and is capable of holding 100 sheets of paper.

The Pixel ‘a series is one of Google’s most loved products. The last Pixel ‘a series from Google in India was the Pixel 4a, a good value proposition back then. Thanks to our overall population, India is one of the world’s largest smartphone markets. Companies value this market to a point where midrange smartphone categories introduce flagship-level features and more. Google takes a safe calculated approach with their latest Pixel 6a, hardware that has stood the test of time paired with the newest Tensor processor optimised for the phone and the latest Android software. Our test results are a mix of impressive and unimpressive opinions.

Shubman: I think the current bench strength of the Indian cricket team is magnificent. We have almost two to three players competing for the same position, which makes us one of the strongest cricket teams in the world. However, for a player, it is a very challenging scenario because if you don’t perform well in a couple of games, or a series, there are always two to three players waiting for their chance. I think that keeps you on your toes all the time, and you don’t take any game lightly. You play with all you have and give your everything every time you play for the nation.

The best way to predict the future is to invent it. Every invention is a birth of an idea that was once considered vague and impotent. However, some inventions bring about major changes in everyone’s life and gradually knits themselves closely with our routine and habits. Every invention is a prop for a man to advance his own life and to teach future generations how to be more creative and independent. Why 75 gadgets, in particular, you would ask? Well, it’s the 75th year of Independence for India. To celebrate this occasion, we have brought together 75 gadgets that changed the world for the better and made our lives easier as a country and as individuals.
Toaster
The first electric toaster was designed by Alan MacMasters in London. The electric filaments used in it had a large amount of nickel in their composition, which led them to overheat easily. This discovery came as an accident, and now all we do is just toast and drink.

Playbook
Nobody, nobody wants to store files on their devices as it only reduces internal storage, and when talking about graphic designers they create and save hundreds of files every day. The table turns when it comes to looking out for a particular file or a project on the device, as not all of us are organized and have time for creating different folders daily.
The playbook is a cloud storage space created for artists and designers to save their creative files. The platform automatically tags, organizes, and collaborates your creative files based on their types, saving time when you or your team members are looking for them. It offers to save up to 100GB of free data & for the paid version, it goes up to 10TB.

The hectic process keeps going until you get the final call from the clients, which takes a lot of time. ProofHub is a platform that helps you manage all your tasks easily and hassle-free as it allows clients to suggest changes right on the platform, ultimately saving the time we spend on mailing.

Do you know who invented zero? Well, zero as a ‘digit’ was first introduced by Aryabhata in his place value system, and as an Indian, I’m proud of it cause without zero, everything falls apart. Today, on the event of India’s 75th Independence day, I’m going to oblige you with the top 15 Indian inventions that we’re proud of. Also, I hope you have participated in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign.
Plastic Roads
Let’s start with the trending issue we all face during the monsoon season or perhaps throughout the year. We can buy a car or something, but we couldn’t have a comfortable ride due to potholes and broken roads. To overcome this problem, in 2006, an Indian scientist, Rajagopalan Vasudevan of the Thiagarajar College of Engineering, developed and patented a unique idea of Plastic roads.
The technique involves sprinkling shredded plastic waste to construct better, more durable, and cost-effective roads. The roads made of plastic-coated stones last longer and reduce road-laying maintenance costs by 50%, as plastic doesn’t allow water to saturate the road. The technology of making roads with plastic waste was adopted globally by many countries, including the United Kingdom.
Paper Microscope or Foldscope
Back in the 20th century, buying a microscope was out of the league, but today you can buy a microscope for less than 100₹. Looks like you’re stunned. Thanks to IIT-Kanpur alumnus Manu Prakash who developed a paper microscope, an optical microscope made from a sheet of paper and a lens. The invention was part of the “frugal science” movement and can be used in science education/medical diagnosis in rural areas.
Voice Prosthesis
Each year, tens of millions of people are diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and Laryngeal cancer is one of the topmost cancer categories in the world. In 2015, a Bengaluru-based oncologist, Dr Vishal Rao, invented a tiny voice prosthesis made of silicon to help cancer survivors talk again. The device is priced at a bare minimum cost of 50₹, far less than the other costly devices.
USB
Before the dawn of the USB, connecting your computer with something required a large variety of ports, such as a PS/2 connector, a serial port, a DIN connector or the Apple Desktop Bus. Then, in 1996, Ajay V. Bhatt, an Indian-born American computer architect, defined and developed the USB (Universal Serial Bus), a little removable storage device, making our data-carrying journey easier than ever.

Buying a 16-inch budget laptop seems to be a cynical question these days and to answer just that, ASUS has launched the 2022 variant of its most preferred series of Vivobook laptops. Starting at only ₹54,990, this is by far the most affordable 16-inch laptop in the market with more than decent specs and clearly targets a demography which prefers bigger screens but don’t want to end up spending a lot.
These new ASUS Vivobook laptops which are updated for 2022 now do pack in considerate performance while still being affordable which we feel is a great stint by the Taiwanese giant.
Powered by the last-gen AMD Ryzen 5000H processors, which even in 2022, we feel is a good one to use on budgeted Windows laptops and here it’s the 45W drawing powerful Ryzen 5 5600H variant. The model we tested is the ₹59,990 version with 16GB RAM.

Imagine scrolling through the gram to finally end up feeling at ease in your own skin. The body positivity movement is, by far, the most radically beautiful thing on social media. While there is no dearth of photoshopped images portraying perfect bodies and impeccable skin, thankfully, there is a steady rise of representation for all skin types, body sizes, and genders.
A while ago, I discovered the art of curating my social media feed to inspire and empower myself: to be in charge of what I see and react to on the internet. Now, every time I pick up my phone, it brings me joy to see powerful men and women embracing themselves as they are, and that is the energy I think we need more of.
Stretch marks, blemishes, scars, acne: Everything that scares and embarrasses us is everything that these body positivity influencers welcome and accept with compassion. If you have suffered the dark side of social media, be sure to catch some light and love that exude in abundance on the pages of these influencers.

The OnePlus 10T follows the same burdenless, unified, and stylish design language as the OnePlus 10 Pro, complete with a unibody rear glass cover made with industry-leading technology. The OnePlus 10T is available in Moonstone Black and Jade Green colourways. The smooth glass delivers a ceramic-like finish that looks and feels premium. The significant difference in design between the 10Pro and 10T is the exclusion of an alert slider in the latter.

‘Vocal for local’ being in vogue these days, how well this foreign brand will hold the ground is a test of time. Moreover,India is a tough market and could prove a tough nut to crack for new, relatively unknown manufacturers like Citroen. The French carmaker would also have to face off against established players like Maruti-Suzuki, Hyundai, Toyota, Tata, and Mahindra. In fact, globally established car manufacturers constitute less than one per cent of the market share in India despite being in operations for more than a decade. Thankfully, Citroen has opted to manufacture cars locally in India to give them the much-needed leverage to perform dynamically in the market.
PSA group-owned Citroen is a formidable carmaker. It overcame bankruptcy in 1974 and is currently a profitable automaker in Europe. However, PSA cannot imply the same European strategies in India and will need to adopt the “Indian in India” philosophy. The carmaker can’t afford to go wrong in an important market such as ours, where car sales are expected to undergo profound growth.
