So I met this girl at the airplane festival a couple weeks back. She was stunning, older gal from the early 1940s. with her gull wings and candy red paint, and the artmanship gone into crafting her sheet metal details-all totally had me in awe and took my breath away.

When you're changing the main battery on a 737 max 8, it's not a terribly difficult job conceptually, but in practice the bolts are fucking impossible to reach because some asshole put a heat shield for the crew o2, which is right next to it, in the way. This results in me having to craft a doohickey to even have a hope of reaching that shit, all while you're crumpled in an awkward position because you're in the fwd cargo hold which has really low ceilings so you can't stand up or find a position that isn't like lying on your side reaching above your head and not really looking at your hands

The doohickey in question. It took every extension I had and a swivel socket.

Truuu!! I absolutely love working on the little planes, but I'd personally would much rather wrench on the 10000 flight hour lead encrusted 172s than deal with another cranky old doctor grumpypants' million dollar plastic airplane. 😵‍💫Hell I'd trust flying the corroded af Cessna more than flying with any of the Cirrus boomers, they never use their radios and run their engines full rich 24/7, sparkplugs are always a disaster. 😵‍💫

I'm learning a lot ALOT about airliners from your posts, aaah hope when I'll start smacking wrenches on em later in the year I'll get to have some fun on em! (might play with 747 777 structures after the seasons close the Alaskan bushplane place) Hopefully not as much fun as your greasy coworker is having tho! 🤣

You have my highest sympathies. Good luck🙏 I'm glad I only had to mess with the engines on those things. That's pretty whack! 😵‍💫 Must be the same dingus engineer who designed the SR22 Battery 2 location 🫠

last year i was eating in a fancy, large restaurant when i began to hear a rumble and the distant sound of people chanting ‘potassium, potassium’ and suddenly hundreds of people dressed as bananas flood this restaurant chanting potassium over and over and we were trapped there for a very long time because the bananas would not leave and they were everywhere

Lil mini TFA comic set in my au playgrounds about the time Bumblebee was having it rough during his Autobot training with Sentinel Minor. Seaspray offers him a way to help get his mind off it and show him what he believes it means to be an Autobot. What will come of Bumblebee and his zombie space pirate fighting adventure? More to come, stay tuned!!

In G1 Bumbleebee and Seaspray seemed like really good friends, so I thought of doing a TFA spin on em and giving Seaspray a sorta role model/mentor role. Whether not this unhinged war vet who's seen hell and might just let Bee run around with a Halo Energy sword fighting zombies is a good rolemodel or not is up for debate- buuut where's the fun in that!
