Space ramen that happens to be beef-flavored. Would you try it?

Long story short, this is Val, Ricardo's grandchild and Reina's grand-niece. I've had this one since 2011 for my own personal webcomic. It's a sci-fi and fantasy setting, which includes rather crazy-looking food like this.

If ya'll wanna know more about Val, asks are open! They existed long before my HPHM au, but I've also included them in.

Calliope is a Centauride from Reina's home of Crystal Beach. She's from her own separate herd that resides on their own private island, referred to as the Island or Beach Herd. She's a recently graduated student from Vytaria Academy of Magic and specializes in Nature Magic. She usually communicates with butterflies.

Called Callie by close friends such as Reina, she often watched out for the younger students and has a strong older sister vibe. She's the same age as both Ricardo and Torvus. Story-wise, Reina would visit the Island Herd in her 6th year after hearing about Trelawney's Prophecy, rather than the Centaur Camp in the Forbidden Forest. Through a series of events, both Centaur herds wanted to meet up with one another 'as the stars predicted'. Despite the differences between them, the meetup was a massive success.

It was definitely something figuring out not just how horse legs work, but how to apply them to a Centaur. She's still in the beta stage, but this is close to how I visualized her. The horn was a last minute addition as I was finishing up the sketching stage. I'm not sure if there's a specific term for Unicorn-Centaurs. Much like in MLP, she has a horn because of her high levels of magic.

Rel is Ricardo's daughter and Reina's niece, pictured here at 14 years old. She's four years older than the quads and she adores them, and in return they see her as the cool big cousin. She doesn't attend Hogwarts as she lives in Hokkaido, Japan with her dad and the Ketsueki family, and instead attends the Japanese branch of Vytaria Academy located an hour away from them.

She was born in Las Vegas on February 22, 1994.

She's named after her late aunt Rel, who was Ricardo's older half-sister and guardian.

Speaks English, Spanish, and Japanese.

Loves space, pastel colors, and cute fashion.

Has her own Familiar named Howie, who takes the form of a duck.

Rel is a Metamorphmagus like her dad, and she often uses her power to change her hair color.

She displayed early signs of Oracle Magic at a very young age. This allows her to see all potential outcomes and uses Card Magic to aid in her readings and visions.

Over time she takes up Dream Magic, Spatial Magic and Star Magic.

Extra Details

Rel's conception was completely accidental, but both parents stepped up without hesitation to see the pregnancy through. Her mother Naomi had recently Ascended to a Denizen and was in Vegas to enjoy her final days as a human before the Departure. Due to these circumstances, it was agreed that Ricardo would get sole custody once the baby was born. To anyone that asked, he would simply tell them she had become an Angel, which while technically true, many would interpret it to mean she had passed.

Ricardo wanted to surprise his family and friends after moving back to London, doubly so as he never told them he had become a parent. As for how they'd eventually end up in Japan with the Ketsueki family, that'll be left for another post lol

I've had Artemis and Apollo's designs in my head for well over two years now?? I had always planned on including an adopted third child which resulted in Astraeus, as being the basic bitch that I am, I wanted to give them a sun/moon/star motif.

As a whole:

They were born in 1997. Apollo and Artemis were born in June, while Astraeus was born that following September.

They created their masks out of Magic for aesthetic reasons. They're used primarily for communication and spying if needed.

The three of them operate a little business that can range from acquiring certain items to completing homework for a price. The higher the desired grade, the higher the fee.

All of them can use Vytarian Magic but aren't dual-enrolled at the academy.

He's fully aware of his heritage, but considers the Coppers to be his true family.

He doesn't like his eyes because it reminds him of his birth parents, having seen photos of them before. The masks were created for this reason.

Artemis and Apollo wear their own masks as a show of support.

Likes to sketch and sculpt as a hobby.

Uses his Gravity Magic to prank classmates.

The kids were born in the Three Broomsticks during the Battle of Hogwarts (long story lol)

Because of their vast Magic, they were approved to start Hogwarts one year early, so they're a year younger than most of their classmates during the events of Magic Awakened.

Like Reina, they're dual enrolled at Vytaria, so they only take core classes at Hogwarts.

They inherited their mother's ability to detect people's true emotions and intentions, so they're well aware of who to avoid.

Oldest of the four. Due to the Chimerism that runs in his mother's side of the family, he fused with what would've been their 5th sibling.

He's known to give of a very cool kid vibe, is usually calm and collected and easy to get along with.

Corvo is Narcoleptic and prone to sleeping a lot. He can still retain info while asleep, which proves to be a big help during classes.

From an early age he has always loved music, and manifests Symphony Magic when he's older. His spells are said to have a musical beat to them.

His signature green discs are created from Magic, allowing him to create beats that enhance the spells of his own as well as allies, and can disorient opponents.

Explored different musical instruments, and his favorites are the violin and piano.

Loves food and is almost always snacking on something in between meals. Would manifest Food Magic as one of her types.

Was always the most energetic of her siblings, and was already fast as soon as she could crawl.

During early childhood, she played all kinds of sports. Her top favorite is skating, and she was taught by her mom how to transfigure her shoes into skates. Ava is usually seen skating around the castle.

Bonded with Robyn almost immediately. The two would then try out for Quidditch in their second year, and Ava herself becomes a Chaser.

Raven was born on the Autism Spectrum and her biggest focus at an early age was baking. She often helped her mom out in the kitchen as soon as she was old enough to, and would manifest Food Magic.

Thanks to her quiet and reserved nature, she found herself becoming good friends with Daniel. She'd often give him sweets during times he'd stay up late brewing potions.

She often sells her sweets to any classmate or staff member interested, much like Reina once did during her school days. Named her mini business The Witching Flour.

The most sensitive of his siblings, and was always prone to crying whether he was sad or happy.

He's often seen with his sketchbook and ink case. At school, he becomes fast friends with Lottie thanks to their shared love of art.

Combines Ink and Paper Magic to create colorful paper sculptures. He'll sometimes leave smaller creations around the castle and grounds for folks to find.

The fact that female Centaurs exist yet the books, games and movies have only ever shown males has always been so odd to me. Sure, you get to visit the camp in Hogwarts Mystery but those are clearly all dudes. I've heard that the term for the females would be Centaurides.

Top left design is meant to be a little Centaur kid around their equivalent of 12 years old.

No full bodies yet cuz I barely draw animals and I know those poor gals would just look like mangled horses, so a bit more practice is in order.

have you ever thought about making your own version of an infection au?

Personally, not really. I did make a Resident Evil au for fun but like my other aus it's all in notes. It's not even about the group dealing with infections/plagues and stuff, but rather exploring the roles Ricardo and Reina were meant to have.

In that setting, their crazy mom was an ex-Umbrella researcher who had her own twisted visions of what the world should be, and wanted to achieve that by creating her own bioweapons. She wasn't above experimenting on her own children to achieve her goals.

Ricardo and Reina were her most successful experiments, as she perfected her goal of making them into bioweapons. However, the twist is that neither of them had any interest in taking over the world, and instead chose to live normal lives.

If I went through with more for the au, it'd be to showcase what their respective powers were meant to do.

Late update since my crusty old self couldn't figure out how to transfer my screenshots from the Switch to my PC. After the fourth run I decided to switch to another weapon that I did much better on. That'll be saved for another post.

Homunculi exist in the au btw. They're the magical equivalent of clones that despite the circumstances behind their creation, develop Souls of their own.

The knowledge and skill behind their creation is known to only a trusted few for a very good reason. That being said, it hasn't stopped that knowledge from being stolen in the past.
