Prompto nodded as he was helped to his best friend’s bed, he groaned a little but offered a weak grin to Ignis as he then watched Noctis getting out some clothes for the sick blonde to wear as Prompto wasn’t used to all this attention as little droplets of tears trickled down his cheeks as he softly replies as he was slowly putting on the clothes given. 

“T-Thank-you Noct…really, this means a lot to me that you and Iggy are looking o-out to me…”

He managed to say, meaning every word that left his mouth as redness flushed his hot freckled cheeks as he was slowly laying down in the soft bed as it placed his mind at ease.

“ Any decent person would do it Prom. No reason to get all choked up that I’m taking care of my friend. “ Noctis didn’t say anymore, taking his clothes with him to change in the other room and get to work on whatever Ignis deemed important enough. The bag that was left for him would be more appropriately called the largest piece of luggage he’d ever seen. A look at Ignis confirmed and the second equally large bag he was hauling in was explanation enough.

The flasks themselves weren’t much to speak about. With glass about as thick as a high-end glass ornament, they broke easily. That was the entire reason the crown had them produced for Kingsglaive initiates to use, the thin glass really only needed to be dropped a short distance for them to shatter. Until they showed their aptitude or in case they couldn’t produce magic on their own, Noctis filled them with as many strong spells as he could for them to use however they saw fit.

It is what he would be doing when Prompto decided to join them later, surrounded by orbs glowing different colors and swirling with elemental magic, headphones in to help him focus while Ignis sat nearby going over council meeting notes.

After picking up Gladio, Noctis ventures to Old Yharnam to get punched full of machine gun bullets. Noct dies a lot, Gladio spends a lot of time impatiently waiting by lamps with Noct’s lost Blood Echoes.

#1+2: AU [Edit: How can I write something without spoiling ah T__T] Attending a Memorial after the end~ but Noct is still wounded and recovering. had to draw something quick (feeling withdrawal) maybe I’ll make this longer at some point but no plans for that rn… #3: I forgot to drop that last picture into the last post, so I drop it here instead…(there’s a creepy Ignis shadow there but only because he’s a beautiful man that really wants them to wake up for breakfast)

Prompto slept for a bit as the car was moving, wasn’t long however once the car stopped and he was gently shook to wake up as a small groan escaped his lips as tired eyes looked to see Ignis as he slowly nods before getting up while being careful not to wobble. 

He bowed his head to the Adviser as he appreciated all their help as he looked at Noctis, yawning a little as he then made his way over to his best friend’s apartment. His eyes still droopy and his head still feeling heavy as shaky legs made their way forward, entering the building as he leaned against the wall to support as he then replied.

“T-Thank-you so much Iggy as this is much appreciated…I’m so-sorry if I’m a bit slow still, I really do wish to repay you as your kindness is a lot for someone like me…”

“ Hardly any need to thank me, Prompto. And while you have no reason to apologize for being sick, and I do insist you stop apologizing for something you have no control over. Should you feel the same when you are feeling more yourself, I’m certain I can find something for you to do. “ Ignis went as far as to make sure that Prompto made it to the prince’s bed, allowing him privacy to either flop down in his own clothes or strip if he wished. Unlike Noctis, the blond was likely to still have boundaries when it came to stripping in front of another person.

Noctis made sure to follow them into the room, fetching a change of clothing for himself and digging out a huge sweater and some sweatpants for the blond. Ignis was sure to put him to work on something seeing as he left school early, and it made sense to be comfortable regardless of what he was planning.

“ Sleep a bit if you can. Ignis will start some soup or something. You know where the bathroom is if you are gonna get sick. Text me if you need something, ‘kay? “
