As many of you know I'm a cancer survivor, diagnosed when I was 8 and I've been cancer free for almost 12 years now. Obviously this was and continues to be a huge part of my life and who I am as a person. Many of you may also know that my favorite band is Pink Floyd, their music has done and means more to me than I could ever put into words. My favorite song is "Hey You" and my favorite lyric is, of course, "Don't give in without a fight." Putting two huge pieces of my life and being into a tattoo is something I've wanted for almost a decade. And finally for my 25th birthday I did just that. Today was my last day at The Banana Empire. As tomorrow I move to Columbus to start a new chapter in my life.
