The History of Buying, Selling, and Trading Sneakers

It first started all the way back in the early to late 1990s when the hype of jordans were almost at their peak, people would be begging their parents to buy them the jordans and the nike shoes, when a new shoe would release it would sell out almost instantly and you couldnt really get it after unless you knew someone who had them, it was always a risky thing to do because of the risk of fakes (were not that good then) and price manipulation.  When the early 2000′s the influence of rap and shoes were really taking off and there was a huge demand for shoes, people would start to rally in long lines for new releases around the world, some of this got so bad that sadly some people have lost their lives over their shoes, ebay started getting popular around the late 2000′s and they started to be sold there and fakes started to become big. When the 2010′s hit the sneaker game was changed forever sneaker cons started poping up and ebay took off with sneakers for a while but sneaker prices still were not that expensive yet this all continued up until about 2017 when stockx and GOAT popped up revolutionizing the sneaker game they were both platforms to buy and sell sneakers while also authenticating them and this is when shoe prices shot up because of this new demand and they are still going up to this day and the sneaker game has never been bigger, people started to pay up for the newest and the best collabs.

My favorite shoes of all time

Number 1: Air Jordan 1

This is my favorite shoe because it is a classic shoe that can easily be fitted with something and the silhouette is amazing and all around just an amazing shoe in general. Number 2: Air Jordan 5

This is my second favorite shoe because all of the amazing colorways this shoe has and how it isnt too over the top. Number 3: Air Jordan 4 

This shoe has a really good design and it is also yet another classic shoe with many versatile colorways and can be casually worn. Number 4: Air Jordan 12

This shoe has one of the best looks I have ever seen, it stands out from other shoes and it can be rocked with anything and is one of the most versatile shoes due to the strong construction. Number 5: Air Jordan 11

This shoe is also yet another classic and is a very good looking shoe from the icy bottom hits and the mesh upper construction while also having good high top and low top variants. Number 6: Air Max 90

Classic, lowkey shoe that is very comfortable and easy to style. Number 7: Nike Dunk low. 

This is one of my favorite shoes now, while I personally used to absolutely hate this shoe it has grown on me and now it is one of my favorite combining aspects from the Air Jordan 1 Low and the Air Force 1, it really has a unique look and is very all around good
