That name happened upon me while subscribing; a Tumblr suggestion that I kinda'-liked. My lightheartedness is usually in context with that existing subject, so's not to be a smartass, but after any blog, you can call me what you like. I am sensitive, but bullies can give me their best shot, and find that I don't go down easy (that in fact--I don't go down at all), so if you have a chip on your shoulder towards bloggers who are only trying to socialize, then draw your hypocrisy and cynicism to me, and let the world turn for those who want to shed light, teach and positively create. Like a famous redhead comedic celebrity (Kathy Griffin) decries as 'loving and referring to her 'gays,' for advice at times, I'm a straight guy--who loves his lesbians, especially those who took me out of my green years and I'm a greater man because of it. I'm also an advocate for gay rights (equal union) and will reflect on the subject when necessary, and that until 'rights' become at least Nationally right, then commentary is always necessary. I wear my favorite hat; Superman-MOS style because Superman is my favorite choice to be given the most attention to, to fix, in terms of where the character was, is now, and where he might wind up if DC overplays their responsibilities to lauded characters, when all fans ever asked for...was good challenging stories. Until then, Supergirl is in-charge followed by all others in her pier group. Comic book films, satire, CosPlay, animals that easily become family members, bright minded people, children who are up-and-coming, politicians that actually help us (bwwhahahahahah!!!!!) and history are my 'likes' and fuel my optimism. I'm sorry that my profile took so long to submit, but I'm a pretty busy guy who works hard in order to make important of his private time...and permitted that I could share it upon yours.

𝙄'𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙥𝙥 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙮, 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖 𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩-𝙪𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮.
And that particular encounter comes from the "Live" feed, as I randomly picked one individual who were providing a session of candid affair, as she FaceTimed with another person who seemed to be going through a clusterfuck of mental, and a suggestion of physical abuse, of which I'm sorry to hear about if it's really true.
I'm very much in support of people finding a sounding board that'll allow them to vent or rant. The word "𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩" is what seemed to get under the skin of the protester, as I watched the broadcaster smoke a bong and offer the usual side-eyed support of agreement and the "you go girl" sentiment.
Of course there's the adornments in which to gift the presenter in virtual fashion, and I did offer a teddy bear at the onset. I only chose to comment when it looked like the one who claimed to be victimized, slowed her roll a bit. And that's when things got nasty. I wish I had a transcript for what I posted, and then it would be known that I didn't deserve to be treated in the manner that had been dealt.
Anyone who wants to use the LIVE option to be some kind of 'expressive,' as if to think expanding on social networking is a good idea, ought to think it through. Not all of the watchers are lurkers and not all of the listeners are tuning-in to further threaten your otherwise hostile presentation in the first place. You'd be the first one to want to block somebody because you think you're being invaded of a personal matter, when it's you that's invading the medium that others are browsing. 𝘾𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙉 𝙐𝙋 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙁𝙐𝘾𝙆𝙄𝙉' 𝘼𝘾𝙏!!!
If you're looking for sympathy of the harms done to you, then start with how you yourself listens, and what you choose to do to "𝙑𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝘽𝙇𝙀𝙈𝙎."
You could learn something from watching how others present themselves on Live chats around the social media mainstream; they've had their moments of getting things wrong, and have either refined upon themselves or been replaced by better presenters. I don't really care if the person that I'm referring to, reads this or not. Nobody should offer a virtual chat, and then think to disrespect a visitor, just because you think you're above the choice of decency, and can be an asshole if you choose.
I hope your friend gets the better treatment and help she feels she deserves. And that you think twice next time, before you pick someone who won't be as diplomatic as myself. Your actions only add to one of the reasons some would like the Government to sensor these pastimes. And I--for one, have always thought that people should learn to control themselves and their own content. I suppose the best way to start the practice is to mind context a bit more importantly.

Don't get too wrapped up in what you think is not unsupportive. If the man has been a supporter of LGBTQS in as much--the recent past, then he probably is no different at this point. I think he will be micro-analysed whenever he's taking on more creative chores with the series. And why would that be; because David's Black, and still you've never experienced him denouncing the LGBTQ audience? Try to also recognize that David probably has handlers that step in to keep his social media correspondence active when he's able to immediately share of his time. I'm sure with a fine tooth comb and a discriminate magnifying glass, you'd see similar hiccups on the other lead cast's accounts. You merely have to wait for the production to finish the season out, and then you can find your clarity [exclusively] the actor.
The David Harewood saga continues
The fact David Harewood blocked some LGBTQ fans for no reason other than they support a specific ship, then has homophobia being posted in the comments on a tweet of his, (that itself is divisive in intent) & David's tweet has been retweeted by said homophobe, & no recourse by David Harewood, is absolutely inexcusable.
I fail to understand what David feels he is getting from this?
It isn't just showing discourse amongst fans that's astounding, it has people openly attacking LGBTQ fans. To see it going unchecked on his timeline is sickening. Yet I don't see anyone on there, who are happy to say how much they support David, call the poster out. Where are the fans, who were quick to call out hate on his post, but are ignoring it elsewhere on his posts? You say one thing, but your actions display something else entirely.
And honestly right now, the way this makes me feel; sure David, read a book about not giving a fuck. It appears you really don't give a fuck about LGBTQ fans of Supergirl.
To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
You just have to go through my timeline to see how often I tweeted support for DH prior to all this, particularly about racism. He even occasionally retweeted my posts. I was a fan of his. Not any more. To see this has been shocking.

I had hoped, that no matter how valid DH felt in his first tweet on the matter, he would've understood that the best course of action would then have been to step back from social media for a day or so, just to try & let it all settle down.
But he came straight back in, liking Tweets that came from accounts that were known for being actively problematic towards LGBTQ fans.
His actions are enabling it. That surely has to be addressed by him to stop it continuing; yet as of now there is zero sign he intends to step in and tell fans to stop with the homophobic and transphobic posts. He complains about hate, yet doesn't address hate being sent in his name. I know he can't stop posters doing it in his name, but he does have the power to call them out over it. Why aren't you doing that David? Surely you don't want this associated with you? This lack of action is a reason this has continued to rumble through the Supergirl fandom.
Those of us who are part of LGBTQ fandoms have at some time or another in our lives faced being alienated, ridiculed, attacked (physical & emotional), and in some cases estranged from family. We face physical attacks, & become murder victims at a higher than average rate. LGBTQ also have a higher than average number with mental health issues, often caused by the problems being LGBTQ brings. We sure as hell don't do this for the shits and giggles. Add in where there is intersectionality (for example, as a POC), it adds another layer of bigotry to contend with.
Many use TV shows, films and other mediums to help escape truly awful situations in their real life. For David to show such blatant disregard to these points, to disregard these fans (many are also a younger demographic audience), is also something I am struggling to understand.
I've watched others from the Supergirl cast face outrageous hate, yet they've handled it with grace and open dialogue with fans. They've stepped away as needed, kept all dialogue respectful, even when faced with the hate still, and earnt huge respect from many fans as a result.
I wish David would try to emulate his cast mates here, yet the damage is still done. He will never gain back respect from some fans - myself included. I will still support his character in the show, but I can no longer support the man.
I know he probably thinks so what, I don't care. I'm paying my mortgage, that's all I care about - but as an actor in the position he is in, that really is an awful take to have.
I really had hoped that after 3 days, this would have now settled down.
David's latest post has done anything but settle it down.

Forcing a narrative to the people that grew up on "The Superfriends" is probably why the media likes to jest about this subject. But I would argue that if Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman were actually meant for children, then they would've been absorbed by DISNEY during their own Golden Age of audiences and extended fanfare and Max Gaines would likely not have strongly developed what would be what we know as the comic book industry, much less DC Comics as we know it.
Let's try to recognize or speculate with an educated wit, that if not for superheroes taking their role in the longevity of this medium, that we might not have an industry to speak of (at least not one leading and flourishing in the United States). Even categories like humor and horror can pay direct respect to the superhero genre, which was a booming business and therefore other inspirations could be tried unto the medium.
There was a time when the hero could and would face horrors of psychopathy deformed anomalous proportions and even certain degrees of deviancy before there were an EC Comics (and a few others) to attack by maniacal authors and cronies of J Edgar Hoover once upon a time, which is why I usually implore some of the Millennials that like to yell, cuss and post manifestos on how sacrilegious Zack Snyder is, to do their damn homework and come up with better conclusions than the mimicking they evidently choose as if peeking over to the next person's applications during an important test; 'point being' that their answer could still be wrong.
These characters in the Snyderverse have early or later flaws, though they're not murderers, at least not in the cold blooded sense. These current iterations are also not new, though estranged, if not abandoned of original motives during their first several years of adventures. And they may have been refined in many ways for one reason or another, yet I can't say that they were ever meant for children strictly. I'd say that they have come to be shared between generations.
And when it comes to what some critics think they know about Batman or Wonder Woman, that's it's likely they know very little about the angst and sense of reality that's been injected into the superhero comic book through the last 40 years.

“Meanwhile, Batman v Superman director, Zack Snyder, has a response for people who didn’t like that the heroes in his movies kill people.”

Probably true (of the emotional display), though I wish there were more consistency to Kara's own awkward loneliness which harkens back to her earlier comic book roots. I think the relationship she has with Lena is a bit forced, as Kara already has a stronger bond with Alex, J'onn and others, and there's no real need to replace Cat Grant's firm nurturing fondness, for Lena's abandonment and need to take her pain out on others (which gets to be too pitchy at times). I love the actress whose very chic and gorgeous, though don't find her character all that intriguing.
This is what heartbroken looks like.

There's way too much opinion about Melissa's or many other celebrities that find love in the job place. Her life and decisions are hers to make, and nobody should be trying to exercise their demons vicariously through these people in our fanfare scope. That's when some people need to shut down the fanfic and the ships and allow for reality to honor one's pro choice.
And it's also not a matter of whom Melissa chooses, for they've chosen one another until one or the other decides to clarify [even that] by sharing.
The Sweetest Soul
I don’t understand why some anti-fans of Chris Wood suddenly accept him. Claiming to be happy that Melissa found someone that loves and cares for her. Don’t they realize that they were abusing the man she loves?
Isn’t possible that all the abuse Chris suffered by her “fans” caused her more misery? She was already abused and now the man she loves is being abused by her own fans?
How do you think that made her feel?
I understand that everyone has their own OTP, but to attack someone, just because in your eyes they are in the way of your OTP?
Anti-Mon-El / Anti-Chris Wood Fans really need to take a look at themselves and their actions.
If you truly stand with Melissa, respect her husband.
Because she chose him.
She loves him.
Stand with Melissa.
