I wish they'd let Wyll be angry, specifically: angry for himself, not just for other people. I wish they'd let him yell at his dad. I wish they'd let the player tell Wyll that it's okay to love your dad but still feel hurt and betrayed by him. Let the guy vent all that pent up negative emotion for goodness sake. Give him a scene or three where Theo Solomon could flex his voice acting skills.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about my family and how I was treated as a child, and honestly, my father has never seemed more amazing in my eyes.

I used to love Luigi(Mario's brother) when I was little. Like, he was my favorite character ever, and I had multiple plushies of him. Didn't give a fuck about Mario, vaguely tolerated Peach, but I loved Luigi.

On my first day of kindergarten, my dad gave me the number for his work phone and said it was Luigi's phone number. "If anything happens at school, call Luigi."And not even twenty minutes into my first day, I was having a panic attack. So I went down to the principal's office and called "Luigi."

Now, at the time, my father was in a meeting with his manager and his supervisor, along with most of his coworkers. And when I called, he picked up before he even left the room.

And he put on a very awful Italian accent and said, "Itsa me, Luigi! Whatsa the matter?"In front of his boss and coworkers. Without telling them what was going on. So they were absolutely bewildered, and he carried on like they didn't even exist. He only explained what was happening after I had calmed down and hung up, to which most of them responded with "Aww, cute."

I continued to call him whenever I got upset at school, and eventually his coworkers got in on it. I distinctly remember one of them impersonating Toad. I don't know why I'm telling you this, I just thought it might make you smile :)

legit so annoyed about the way the corporate media wants to paint those women waiting outside the court as crazy and as only being there because Luigi is hot. I looked up pictures of them outside the court and they all held signs and were there to send a message: "health over wealth", "denial of medical care = violence", "murder for profit = terrorism", "the United States healthcare stole my livelihood", "insurance lobbyists line politicians' pockets", "healthcare reform NOW". Yeah, they're there because he's hot for sure. Also, there were a lot of men as well but hey, that's not helping the narrative right?

I saw this piece of art a while back of Malistaire talking to a student about periods where he says he used to get them too but not to tell anyone and the student is shocked and deduces he must be pregnant and I didn’t reblog it but it’s genuinely one of very few pieces of art I’ve ever seen that has gotten through to my extremely dysphoric detached dumbass. i go insane about this quest at least three times a week. the fact that the wizard's subconscious conjured up not only a version of ambrose hellbent on destroying them (which has its own insane implications for both them and mellori), but a version of malistaire that is gentle and helpful. a version of him that maybe, whether they're aware of it or not, they wanted in their life (ESPECIALLY if you have a death wizard.) a version of him that perhaps they can piece together somewhat through cyrus. a version of him that is the antithesis of the malistaire they knew because if he hadn't turned into what he was, they wouldn't have been sent out on their first of many harrowing journeys.

the fact that this version of him still exists somewhere in their memory during empyrea makes me cry. it's heavily implied that the wizard is an adult by that point in time, and they're still, in their own way, grieving a man they didn't know but were sent to destroy as a teenager. grieving a man driven mad by his own grief. i'd say we were so robbed of this malistaire and the young wizard, but we weren't, because it was never going to be that way. without them existing as they do, there's no story, and that's what makes w101 such a tragedy at the end of the day
