Okay one of the BEST meals on the trip for only 20 €. It was in the fish/central market (Dimotiki Agora) in Athens. Came by recommendation by a friend of a friend and I'm glad we made it. If you make a trip to Athens which I highly recommend you MUST MUST GO.

(20 euros got us 4 beers, tzatziki, giant shrimp, giant fish, and garlic bread)

To split up the posts from my recent trip that made me want to get a camera to document it’s importance. Can we all take a second to be like DAMN, Andre 3000 really did that thing. To the album cover really being spot on to the ambient/spiritual jazz theme. Jazz is freedom and expression with no rules. Through jazz one can achieve chaos and enlightenment. Alright let me stop hahaha.

I kept thinking this day how my dad must have felt. Growing up a in a small town in Guatemala. Immigrating to Miami at 18 sharing a room in apartment with his childhood friends. Biking to work at a Benihana to wash dishes. To now standing in front of these monuments with his trans son. Made me really feel a lot of emotions and proud and blessed to have him as my dad. To come from and grow up in such a different world to mine but still growing and learning and accepting. But still getting to see that childhood glimmer of wonder and amazement at 61. Getting to see him get to see the world and his fruits of his labor and wanting to share that with me. Makes me think a lot about life and time and how we're all just truly just in a way children in aging bodies trying to catch up with the time.

Day cruise in Greece.

This was a big and special day for me. First time my dad had seen me with my shirt off since top surgery (2 years since) . He treated me the way he always had without skipping a beat.
