Animation styles

These are some anime I’ve watched that I feel like are really strongly tied to their animation style and where the artstyle is half of the enjoyment. I’d recommend you to watch these even just for the animation! (1-4 are from my top 10 so obviously I think they’re all good in other ways too)

1. Houseki no kuni

-Even the grass looks good and I’m not the only one who thinks so. 3D actually works with this one.

2. Katanagatari

-Some people might not like this style but I personally adore it.

3. Flip Flappers

-Animation really is half of the fun in this one.

4. Violet Evergarden

-Breathtaking.

-Not the best anime but damn did I like the animation. Not everyone’s cup of tea)

My Best 10 Anime

Again I checked myanimelist to see my ratings. These had the highest ones but of course all of my favourites couldn’t fit in 10 places and some of my all time favourites don’t even have that high score even if I love them

1. Zankyou no Terror

-Everyone should watch this. 10/10

2. Durarara (all seasons)

-Mikado is a bit boring (even after the revelation) but otherwise I love this a lot. it’s just my type

3. Houseki no kuni

-I have nothing bad to say about this, excluding that it ended too soon. I have to read the manga

4. Flip Flappers

-New favourite of mine, watched earlier this fall

5. Katanagatari

-I love the animation style too much

6. Gosick

-One of my personal all time favourites

7. Hyouka

-Another one

8. Chihayafuru

-The third season is now ongoing and I’m loving it so much, go watch it!

9. Violet Evergarden

-I only disliked that one episode with the princess. Beautiful animation and soundtracks. Really good!

10. Boku no Hero Academia

-Last but not least! Fourth season is currently airing and I’m really into it. I do like my shounen stuff as well~

My Worst 10 Anime

Remember when I posted that I’m gonna make top 10 or 20 worst and top 10 or 20 best anime I’ve seen? Yeah me neither because it’s been so damn long! Anyway these are all anime that I have actually finished (somehow) and I don’t mention any that I have dropped. These were at the bottom of the list I have at myanimelist (You can find me there with the name Lacie-san)

1. Hand Shakers

-Everyone who has watched this and even those who haven’t knows just how bad this is

2. Hundred

-Your regular action ecchi harem anime. Nothing special, just really bad.

3. Aquarion Evol

-I really don’t want to talk about this. Music was good tho.

4. Jitsu wa Watashi wa

-My friend recommended this to me. Shouldn’t have trusted her.

5. Akame ga Kill!

-Akame was the only character I liked. So many pointless deaths...

6. True Tears

-I could cry true tears for how much I didn’t enjoy this. Annoying af characters.

7. Musaigen no Phantom World

-It looks pretty but wtf even happened in it?

8. Aldnoah.Zero (seasons 1 and 2)

-I didn’t like Kaizuka Inaho because he was so impersonal. I liked Slaine a bit and I’m VERY bitter about the ending. I’m also bitter because the animation is good and music too and it’s all wasted on this...

9. Arcana Famiglia

-It’s just bad

10. Mirai Nikki

-I know some people really love it but I just...don’t...like it. Yandere characters really ain’t my thing and Yuki(teru) just becomes worse and worse as the story continues. Sorry not sorry

Beautiful chapter as always but since when did Mochizuki become romantic :O whoa VanitasxJeanne ship is sailing with a strong tailwind! I don’t personally know what to think about the ships in VnC. So the seal thingy in Vanitas’ hand is eating away at him (Pandora Hearts flashbacks) and the whole blue moon thing makes him cold??
