Healing

I would pull down every star in the sky if that is what you needed to brighten up your life

I would put the seven seas in your chest If I knew I could wash your pain away

I would search the corners of the earth for the nine winds to shelter you in their arms and bring you warmth despite the cold at night

I would make all the flowers in the world bloom at once if only that would make you smile like you used to

I would take every bird’s beautiful song and put it in a little box and tie it to your wrist so you could take it out when your heart was in need

I would bid the moon to give me a piece of her light so I could put it in your eyes so I would see them shine bright

I would take the forest’s strength and pour it into your soul so it would bloom once more

I wish I had the right words but only silence comes at times and all I can do is hold your hand
