🚨 (siren) - What’s your character’s relationship with the law? Have they ever been arrested? What for? What are their opinions on law enforcement?
"I got arrested once in my early thirties at a party. I may or may not have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Luckily, I was able to sort of get out of things with just a fine. Law enforcement is... well.. unfortunate. Too easy to bribe, and going after the wrong people most of the time."

❗️(exclamation point) - What was the scariest moment of your character’s life? Does it still affect them?
"Uh... well I guess when I was pretty young I saw my dad hit my mom for the first time. I was used to him yelling and throwing stuff, but I had never seen him actually hurt anyone. And when you're little seeing that... I froze. I cried. Seeing it the first time was worse than when he changed his attention to me. I was just a kid and I shouldn't have had to deal with that. I shouldn't have had to try to defend her, or deal with an angry ass grown man. Yeah it still effects me."

🍃 LEAVES FLUTTERING IN WIND
🍃 LEAVES FLUTTERING IN WIND — what is/was your oc's favorite subject in school?
"I know most people expect me to say any of my business classes, but to be totally honest, they were always boring as shit. I really enjoyed any foreign language class I took. I minored in Chinese language and really enjoyed any of the East Asian study classes. I liked Latin in high school. I just really enjoy the challenge of learning a new language, a new writing style, and the reward is getting to communicate with more people from different walks of life. What's cooler than that?"

Axel's thumb brushed gently over her hip, as he looked up at her. He loved simply being around her. He didn't need much more than that. "Why even bother going upstairs? Just change right here." He said, his hand moving down to her thigh. "I'm happy with whatever we have. What sounds good to you, beautiful?" He carefully grabbed her hand as she turned to leave. "One more." He said as he pulled her down for another kiss. Axel loved kissing her, loved showering her with affection, and just loved spending as much time as he could with her.
Emira chuckled softly to his words as her hip leaned into his hand. "I'm just about to head upstairs to change into more comfortable clothing before making you food," she responded, smiling. "I'd suggest we both go upstairs to change together, but we both know we wouldn't come back down if we did," she pointed out with a smirk, her fingers still lightly brushing over the back of his head. "Think about what you want to eat, baby." She then leaned down again to give him another kiss on the lips before moving away to go upstairs to change. @axel-mathis

This part always felt weird to him. The nail file tickled and also felt awful at the same time. Like touching styrofoam. But he never said anything about it. He knew he just had to deal with it. "Oh I'm lucky?" He teased as he looked at his hands. "Maybe next time I will let you go for the hot pink I know you are itching to put on my hands." He joked as he tried to sneakily pull the hand she just finished away to wipe the 'feeling' of the nail file off his skin.
"Damn. I was sure you had one. I don't do dog walks. Especially in the cold. " He truthfully, wouldn't know. He had never had a pet in his life. Looking towards the tv he sighed and grabbed the remote turning on the massive screen. "Love Actually" He said into the microphone on the side of the remote and watched as it pulled it up. "Here you go. Your silly Christmas movie."
Victoria sighed dramatically but playfully as she reached for the nail file, her fingers brushing against his gently. "Alright, no Christmas tree..." she teased, positioning his hand carefully as she began filing his nails. The motion was steady and focused, the soft sound of the file running over his nails filling the quiet between them. "You’re lucky I’m being kind with this. I could totally go for a wild design, but instead, I’m giving you sleek and clean... like allways."
She glanced up at him, her lips curling into a playful grin. "You're really lucky, you know. If I had a dog, I’d make you walk it in the cold for hours just to teach you a lesson in Christmas spirit. But for now, you get this. Consider it a gift." She nodded over to the television. "Go on, put Love Actually on netflix, I bet you'll be watching by the time I finish." @axel-mathis

Axel followed Esma's gaze to the necklace with the pink diamond in the center. He smiled and nodded. "I think that would look beautiful on you." He looked down at it and chuckled as she said there was nothing subtle about it. "That sounds about right." He teased as he looked back at her, admiring the sparkle in her eye as she took in the necklace. "We can if you'd like to. But your instinct drew you right to this one... we can keep it at the top of the list..." He looked around for someone working there. "Can she put this one on?" He asked, knowing most times that was not allowed, but he usually found a way to make things happen. He watched as two of the workers discussed and finally agreed. "Here you need to see what it looks like before you make any decisions." He waited for the worker to help her with the necklace.
Esma’s gaze locked on a stunning necklace at the center of the display case, her breath catching just slightly. The centerpiece was an exquisite pink diamond—a rare, radiant blush hue set in a halo of smaller white diamonds that glimmered like starlight. The design was elegant but bold, a perfect blend of sophistication and extravagance.
“This one,” she said decisively, pointing at the necklace. Her tone was confident, almost daring, as she looked up at him. “Nothing subtle about it, but why should there be? If you’re going to spoil me, Axel, might as well make sure the world knows it.” She leaned in closer to the case, her fingers hovering just above the glass, as if touching it might disturb its perfection. “It’s timeless,” she added, tilting her head slightly. “Classic, extravagant, and impossible to ignore. Just like me, wouldn’t you say?” Sliding her hand into the crook of his arm, Esma glanced up at him with a sly smile. “Or do you think we should keep looking? Maybe there’s something with even bigger stones tucked away somewhere.” @axel-mathis

There was nothing better than knowing he'd come home to Emira already there. He had sent her a few text updates throughout the evening before getting home. As she walked over to take his glass he looked up at her with a lazy smile, his face tinged red from the drinking. Pressing his lips against hers he looked up and nodded. "Food sounds amazing." He put his hand on her hip just as she sliped from his grasp. "Why are you all dressed up? It looks good, but... uncomfy."
Emira had been spending most nights at Axel's house and while he was out with a client tonight, she decided to have a cozy night in. She figured Axel would be coming home drunk from winning over his client so she was prepared and ready to have some fun, too. Smirking, she walked over to him and reached for his empty glass, all while leaning down and pressing her lips against his in a soft, yet tender kiss. "Do you want any food? I can make something for you really quick if you'd like," she offered, standing back upright as her free hand reached for the top of his head, brushing her fingers against his hair. She was still dressed in a tight, velvet maroon dress, more on the shorter side, with her black heels on as well.

Axel was out looking for something nice to get for his employee who just learned of her pregnancy after a long time trying. Going into a boutique he was just trying to find a present to add to the check he was writing. Hearing someone near him he looked at her confused. "Me? What do I wear? Just a suit." He thought for a moment. If it was Emira in this situation, what would he tell her. "Black silk. Can't go wrong. It's a classic, right? And probably better to have for other events."
who: open to anyone @aurorabaystarter where: sea glass boutique
"I'm never going to find anything." the woman bemoaned as she frantically thumbed through the rack. "like what do you wear to a cousin you never met's wedding? how do I not make it scream 'my dad begged me to come with him because it's mom's side of the family and she's been dead for over a decade and he never really liked these people anyway'?" vera wished she could go back and time and just tell her dad no, but that man was her kryptonite. the power a five-six, almost eighty-year-old man had over her was laughably impressive.
black curls fell over her shoulder as she looked at her companion. "something blue? that whole situation gives off a blue vibe, right?"

Who? @emiradursun
Where? Home
Axel had been having a remarkably stressful start to his year. The world of business was in chaos in many different sectors. Real Estate Investment being one of them. Having had to take a new client out to drinks, it was his responsiblilty to earn his trust. Get him to like him. Earn this man's money. Get him to put even more of his money in his hands. He had successfully done so, but now, was sitting slouched in his leather chair at home, far too drunk for his own good. Smiling at Emira he wiggled his empty whiskey glass. "I finished it."

Axel was wanting company for dinner tonight, so he had shot off a text to Isla to see if she would join him. Having picked her up, he drove the both of them to one of the nicer restaurants in town. It didn't come close to the restaurants in New York, but it was still nice. Now, sitting across from her, he ordered a bottle of wine for the both of them. "Glad you could join me." He said with a smile. "Emira was busy, and she normally comes with me to things like this."

talk about Isla
"Ahh.. miss trouble. She might look like an angel, but don't let that fool you at all. She knows what she wants, that's for sure. And I appreciate that. I've always liked someone who is direct. She's kind of like a mojito on a hot day. Refreshing, cool, and you always want some more."

Axel raised an eyebrow at her as she promised to sneak in some cheer. "If you paint a christmas tree on my nails, I'll... I'll steal your dog." He had no idea if she had a dog, but he needed something to threaten her with, because lord knows he would never actually do anything to harm her well being. He liked her. "A string of lights? There's already lights... No I think we should just keep everything in it's place. I like that energy."
Axel laughed when she suggested a holiday movie. "Yeah sure.. hit me with your recommendations." He knew he would default to watching football, but she seemed in the holiday spirit.
Victoria glanced up from where she was setting out her supplies, a teasing smile playing on her lips. “Not a holiday guy, huh? You’re a tough nut to crack, Axel. But don’t think you’re getting off that easy—I’ll sneak some festive cheer in here somehow.” She waved a hand vaguely at the perfectly ordered room. “I mean, it’s practically begging for a string of lights or, I don’t know, one of those little fake trees. Something to break up all the…‘everything in its place’ energy you’ve got going on.”
As she worked, she shot him a quick, thoughtful look. “But hey, working and reading sounds solid. Just make sure you leave room for something fun, even if it’s just trying one of those cheesy holiday movies. I can give you recommendations—you strike me as the ‘grinch gets a heart’ type.” @axel-mathis

Axel tilted his head. "Well.. I like to keep my ladies guessing." He joked as he opened the door for her. Axel looked down at her through his sunglasses. "Well believe it sweetheart. I know I do." He smiled and gestured for her to go inside in front of him.
"Well.. probably better to start with the necklace so we know what to match the bracelet to, right?" He said, taking off his glasses and narrowing his eyes as he searched the room. Axel, even when trying to stay discreet, seemed to be an absolute fly trap for sales people. They always rushed him. "Here let's go over here before they can bother us." He gently grabbed her elbow and led her towards a glass case displaying necklaces.
Esma raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a sly grin as she stepped out of the car. “Cocky and a gentleman? You’re just full of surprises, aren’t you?” She smoothed her coat, her gaze flicking to him with a teasing glint. As they approached the jeweler’s door, she nudged him lightly with her shoulder. “Careful with that ‘you deserve some sparkle’ talk, or I might actually believe it.” Her voice was playful, but there was a softness behind it that hinted she liked hearing it more than she let on.
Once inside, the glint of diamonds and gold caught her eye, and she let out a low whistle. “Alright, let’s see if your taste lives up to the hype.” She turned to him, her smile challenging. “What are you thinking? Necklace or bracelet?” @axel-mathis

"So... you're scared you are going to fuck it up.. and your solution is to.... fuck it up by not talking to her?" He shrugged and shook his head. "You're confusing." Axel looked at her in disbelief "Why they hell are you telling me that. Tell her that." He took a long drink. "Come on if you love her I am sure you guys will work it out."
"I'm just--- terrified I'm going to fuck it up." Erica admitted, Axel one of the few people she was properly honest with. A hand came up, running through her hair. Because she didn't have the best track record when it came to dealing with emotions and whatnot. She really really did want to fix things with her wife though, desperately. And that made it all the more scary. "I love her, you know?" @axel-mathis

Axel saw her demeanor change as the conversation topic changed. "Well that's good." He furrowed his brows. "I gotta say, I don't think I've ever seen you so damn freaked out. Isn't this the woman you love? And you are getting a second chance?" He shook his head, truly confused as to why Erica seemed so concerned. "Is there something more going on?"
"Lucky you." Erica snorted, the smile playing on her lips. "I can assure you she has a feisty side." And the older blonde had been on the receiving end more than once, though she supposed that was just a part of being siblings. "Oh... that." The smile slipped a bit, Erica taking a sip of her drink to stall. "Soon, I guess. I think she's staying around for a while. Maybe we're going to fix things?" At least that's what Erica was hoping, though she knew it was going to take a fair bit of work on her part. @axel-mathis
