Half way there!

Hi there it’s Axel!

A few days ago I told you all about the beginning of my adventure through Kanto. So much has happened since then that I decided it was about time for an update.

Pokemon: I have met a lot of wonderful Pokemon so picking only 6 to form my team has been tough but I think I came to final decision. My Pikachu Baal was an obvious choice he and I started this journey together after all! My second Pokemon that I caught was an Oddish I caught while we were on route 1 and we instantly clicked. I next was walking through Viridian forest when I saw a strange looking Caterpie. It was a gold color instead of a normal green. It turns out this means it’s called a “shiny” Pokemon! After I got out of the forest I was surprised by a Pidgey that flew right at me! I was walking down route 3 when I met a Monkey and a Sandshrew that I thought seemed really tough! 

Gyms: The first gym leader I faced was Brock at the Pewter city gym. He specializes in tough rock type Pokemon. But he was no match for the teamwork between me and Oddish! After that gym my Caterpie evolved into Metapod and then after a little longer he evolved into Butterfree! The next gym was Misty’s in Cerulean city. She told me she specializes in water Pokemon with a strong offensive strategy. With Baal and Oddish I was able to beat Misty and get the Cascade badge. Next up was the Thunder badge. Lt. Surge was tough I relied on Sandshrew to beat his Voltorb and Raichu while Mankey beat his Magnemite. Soon after that battle Sandshrew evolved into Sandslash! Then once I made it to Celadon city Pidgey and evolved into Pidgeotto, and he and Butterfree were able to beat Erika’s grass the Pokemon.

Other Adventures: Along my way I’ve made a new friend and rival named Sunny! He got his first Pokemon at the same time I did. Along the way I’ve fought many strong trainers I even went onto the S.S Anne and met many cool trainers from around the world. However, I have met some trainers who I don’t like very much. I’ve had several encounters with Team Rocket, a crime organization that steals Pokemon for money and power. I was traveling through Lavender town after hearing about a ghost haunting the upper floors of the Pokemon tower when I saw a Cubone get taken by two members of team rocket who brought it to their hideout in Celadon city. Their leader Giovanni is really strong but working with my Pokemon we were able to beat him and he released Cubone and I overheard something about them taking over the Silph company. Giovanni also gave me the silph scope so I’m heading back to Lavender town to go investigate the ghosts with the silph scope.

Hi I'm Axel!

Hello!

My name is Axel Rey, and I'm going to be a Pokémon master. I'm from Rustbro city in Hoenn and recently completed school at the pokemon academy there! Now that I have finished school I am finally ready to start my Pokémon journey! Most of my classmates are content just exploring Hoenn but not me! I am going to pursue my dreams and follow in the foot steps of my hero Red! When I was really young my grandpa told me stories about his adventures in Kanto so thats where I want to start my adventure! I arrived in Kanto this morning and got in contact with prof. Oak who said he would give me my first Pokémon! But on our way to his lab the strangest thing happened and a Pikachu ran right up to me, so Prof. Oak let me catch him instead. I decided to name him Baal and together we are going to beat the eight gyms and the elite 4 to become the champion so we can face Red!
