Big Overhaul Pt 2

Once my partner leaves I’ll update a bit more but now I plan on actually redoing this blog yay! I’ll be posting a bit though the actual layout likely won’t change until I have time. The main thing to note is Mumune is a Hrothgar now, not a Lalafell, but I’m keeping the URL because I love it.

The huntress returns!

Hello everyone! I am reviving this blog kinda as ask/RP again but also general FFXIV screenshots. Mumune may be a bit taller and scalier now but her story hasn’t changed. I’ll get stuff up and running prompto!

☀️ for luken!

How well does your OC take care of themself? Do they tend to put others before their own wellbeing and if so how often? What is their favourite way to pamper themself?

Growing up in earth and dirt, Luken at first didn’t bother as much with constant showers or other hygiene. He’d still care for himself enough that he wasn’t a walking dirt ball- especially in dragon form, where he preened whenever he could- but wasn’t as consistent as some others. After essentially being adopted into the heretics that essentially became his family, however, he did start to clean up more often. However, he does tend to put others above himself in that regard- if he’s hurt, he’ll try to get others to safety first before tending his own wounds. That said, he’s not so stubborn he doesn’t notice the pain.

Luken’s favorite ways to pamper himself include the aforementioned preening. When he’s somewhere he can’t go dragon, however, he likes curling up around lamps. The warmth soothes him and makes it easier for him to recharge aether. He also has a soft spot for bubble baths.

🐉 for Mumune!

How religious is your OC? Do they pray to any god(s) or do they not believe in that kind of stuff? What is their view of religion in general? Where do they believe people go when they die? If your OC is not religious why not and what do they believe in otherwise?

Mumune is a devout believer in Halone, the Fury. Despite butting heads with the city-state that worships her most, her father continued to observe his believe in Halone even after leaving Ishgard- something that rubbed off on his daughter. Mumune views Halone as a bit of a warrior goddess, representing the glory of combat as well as the honor found in it, but also respect for your opponent in combat. Everyone is fighting for something- enjoyment, justice, survival, and so much more.

While she is devout to the Fury, she respects other beliefs as well. Having met worshippers of other members of the Twelve and those who worship other deities entirely from said pantheon, she actually loves hearing about different customs and beliefs. She’s growing especially soft for Rhalgr the more she learns on him.

When she dies, Mumune believes she will be welcomed into Halone’s Halls as long as she lives life fighting. What lies in those halls is something she doesn’t know for sure, but she imagines it as a paradise for knights and fighters- somewhere you can fight to your heart’s content and share a good drink with others.

[This is from the “RP Memes: Music edition!” ask meme.] So, I thought about this one for a bit. I already knew in my heart Rusty is a drummer guy - it fits him perfectly. His aesthetic also follows punk rock a lot, and his outfit and design has even once been likened to Visual Kei. Then I had a fun idea hit me.

“Seek out relationships? To be honest, that’s a little hard for me. I tend to be a bit shy... But I like warm, gentle people. Someone who I can just sit with and say nothing and still smile. As for... ‘cultivate?’ I think that word means to build something... I usually build it with anyone willing to talk to me. No one should ever feel excluded... I have a hard time making the first move though.
