I am trans the main provider of two disabled people, one of whom was recently deemed tenatively cancer-free after a frustrating diagnosis and treatment process. The other person is my fiancΓ©, who is an intersex man struggling to access the related medical care. Even if we could afford it, and we can't currently, there are no specialists in the area. I am publicly closeted, having put transition off due to our location and lack of insurance. Survival here in Mississippi has become increasingly financially unsustainable.
We have cheaper housing and more reliable work lined up in New York, where we will also be in a welcoming environment with significantly more food security. We will be able to get my fiance's legal paperwork sorted (as an intersex adoptee, his paperwork is fucked) allowing us to get married and insured.
This is huge for us. We have become malnourished from poverty, and we are overdue for medical testing, and we keep nearly dying from illnesses despite masking everywhere, which probably has a lot to do with the prolonged malnourishment and stress.
To make this move before it gets dangerously cold to do so, we need to get $3,000 every month between now and then. It gets dangerously cold early in the year for the area we will be headed to. I know this is a huge ask, but this is a very tangible way you can help keep us alive while we attempt to flee from the effects of fascism. Please DM me for more details, but I've also been vetted by @kyra45-helping-others, who does scam busting on here. GFM takes a portion out, so my links are listed below if you'd like to give directly, everything will be tracked in GFM.
My artblog is at @theartistrans is you'd like another way to support.

I have mentioned before in here that I live with and take care of two disabled loved ones, my fiance and my roommate, in a deeply red state. Things have been getting increasingly worse over the course of the last few months, and with the worsening state of things in the US, we need to get to a safer state.
My fiance is intersex, and I am trans, we are not doing well here, and his medical care is getting increasingly hard to access while I have put off transition of any kind as an impossibility due to location.
We have housing lined up, it will be cheaper, and a more accepting environment. More details below the cut and in the gfm. But this would be lifesaving.
I've been vetted by @kyra45-helping-others who does scam busting on here, but dm me for proof or details. My art blog is at @theartistrans if you'd like a different way to support. Commissions are closed right now while I work on a big professional project and try to get a better job, but I am making a patreon with physical rewards which will be added to a future update. Gfm takes a portion out, so my links are below.

Long story short, in the past several years, my fiance and I have been evicted, homeless, lost a medically concerning amount of weight due to poverty, nearly died of illness+ also seperately of disability and lost family members.
Our roommate has been divorced and diagnosed with cancer. Her scans suddenly started coming back clean right before she was set to start chemo despite many positive tests and a specific diagnosis. She is still disabled and in medical limbo, but supports us moving for our safety as she is at significantly less risk for now for a variety of reasons.

I am Lamaβs father, her tiny little girl carrying a pain no one should bear.
I have seen with my own eyes how she endured the pain, how they implanted a metal plate in her small hand after she was injured in the war. Her suffering is not just physical β it stretches to hunger, lack of medicine, and being denied the simplest rights of childhood.

Every day, I wish for her a dignified life, a life with hope, enough food, healing medicine, and a smile that never fades from her face.
Today, I appeal to your kind hearts: please help my daughter, donβt let her face this pain alone. Donate whatever you can, or share her story so it reaches those who can make a difference.
Lama deserves to live and to be happy, and our hope is with you.

My children are starving. They cry themselves to sleep every nightβ not because theyβre tired, but because they are hungry.
There is no food to give them. No clean water. No medicine. No way to keep them safe.
I am a mother in Gaza. I have nothing left but my words, and I am using them now to beg you:
Please. Help us. Feed us. Save us. Donβt let my children be next.
Donate whatever you can. A small act of kindness can keep a child alive another day.

Rebuilding What Was Erased β A Message from Abedmajed in Gaza
My name is Abedmajed, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.
In a single missile strike, we lost over 25 members of our family. They were not just names. They were mothers, daughters, sons, grandparents β people we shared meals with, laughed with, and built dreams with.
The missile hit our family home β the heart of everything we knew.

Among those killed were: ποΈ My mother ποΈ My sister ποΈ My older brother His wife and their three daughters ποΈ My uncle, his wife, and all their sons and grandchildren
We were left with nothing but rubble and grief. Yet somehow, my brother and I survived. And now, we carry the responsibility of rebuilding what was taken β not just for ourselves, but for our father, our surviving siblings, and the memory of those we lost.
π Why Weβre Fundraising
This campaign is not just about survival. Itβs about rebuilding a future β A family home, a shared life, a place where our father can rest safely, Where the next generation of our family can grow up knowing peace instead of trauma.
π¬ The funds raised will help us:
ποΈ Rebuild our family home β which was completely destroyed π οΈ Provide basic support for our father and siblings π‘ Create safe, livable conditions for a family shattered by loss
π How the Funds Are Managed
Due to the collapse of Gazaβs financial system, all donations are processed through my brother, who has a U.S. registered Stripe account. Funds are securely transferred to Gaza and distributed in cash here on the ground. We are transparent and ready to provide proof of every step.
π± Why Your Support Matters
We are not asking for charity. Weβre asking for a chance to stand again, To rebuild something we can pass on to the children who survived.
Vetted By @gazavetters No:537
Your support gives us the strength not just to remember the ones we lost β but to honor them by continuing.
π¬ If you canβt donate, a reblog means the world. ποΈ From Gaza, with hope and dignity β thank you.
