DA x AoT Scout Regiment and Veterans Sketches!

As always, this is my original artwork, don't steal and please give me credit. I use various references on the internet and do not intend to use any of my art for commercial purposes, this is merely for fun.

Here are the Scout Regiment Commander and Section Commander, along with Captain Sakura Ogami and her elite squad of veterans (excluding Maki, who simply joins the squad for the 57th expedition under Jin's orders)

Given that the scouts provide the most hope for humanity within the walls, I thought Jin Kirigiri would be perfect for the Scout Commander- and by extent, Koichi Kizakura for his Section Commander, as they work under Hope's Peak Academy.

Koichi's main role as Section Commander is to seek out the strongest soldiers of the upcoming cadets and try to convince them to join the scouts. This has led to hilarious attempts from Koichi to try and convince cadets, along with unintentionally giving the scouts a bad look. Sometimes Koichi comes off as desperate, but can ya really blame him, considering what the scouts do on the daily and their lack of consistent recruits? Nonetheless, he's really insistent on Kyoko joining the scouts once she graduates, much to Jin's dismay. He tries to keep Koichi from talking to Kyoko, but secretly Kyoko has already made up her mind.

Captain Sakura has survived a good handful of expeditions, making her a reliable soldier and even earning her the title of "Humanity's strongest soldier" from the people. Rumors have spread about her surviving miraculous encounters with titans, hence how she got most of her scars. In reality, she got them from sparring and training with her fellow scouts.

No Matter What

Annie x GN!Reader

A/N: I’m ngl.. This is a filler 💀 I been lazy and I haven’t written out that other Annie x Reader I promised y’all 💔 but don’t worry, I’ll get to that at some point.. this is a little something else I made for y’all. I got inspiration from this one Annie x Reader I saw but I don’t remember who wrote it. Anyway imma stop talking, enjoy!

Y/N walked into the dining hall, grabbing their tray of food. They looked around at all the tables, noticing Sasha wave them over. They were about to go over when they noticed Annie sitting by herself. They grinned and rushed over to where the blonde was sat.

“Hey Annie!” They said, sitting down beside her.

Annie rolled her eyes and contemplated getting up and leaving but decided not to because why should she have to leave her table? If anything you should leave.

“Hi Y/N.” She said flatly.

Y/N looked over at where Sasha had called for them and noticed her Connie and Jean already looking at them knowingly. Y/N just chuckled quietly to themselves before looking back at Annie.

“So Leonhart, what’s uuuuuuup?” They said playfully, taking a bite out of their bread.

Annie huffed as she glanced over at Y/N.

“How are you always this upbeat and energetic?”

Y/N shrugged and laughed a bit.

“I dunno, I just am. But I’m honored that you noticed.” They said, wiggling their eyebrows and tossing an arm around Annie’s shoulders.

Annie was quick to push their arm off, a scowl forming on her face as she spoke again.

“Why do you keep doing this? I’ve already told you multiple times that I don’t like you.”

Y/N just smiled.

“Well I don’t know if you recall blondie, but I told you I’d get you to like me no matter what.”

From that day on, Y/N did make it a point to try and befriend the blonde, though it was usually to no avail. Then came the day where everyone had to choose which regiment they’d be joining.

“Anyone who’d willingly join the scouts is an idiot. Why would you want to throw your life away?” Said the blonde, the conversation had started with Y/N asking which regiment everyone would be choosing.

“I actually think it’s kinda noble and brave. The scouts risk their lives protecting everyone inside the walls. I’d rather risk my own life than sacrifice the lives of the people I care about.” Y/N said.

“Then you’re an even bigger idiot than I originally thought. If you want to do that, then by all means. But just know you don’t have my support in that decision.”

And so the time to make a decision finally came. All those who didn’t want to join the scouts took their leave, including Annie. She lingered behind a bit, almost expecting you to follow her. When you didn’t, she frowned a bit, though it was hardly noticeable. She continued to walk as she realized this meant you were leaving her behind. Part of her was relieved, but another part of her was sad that you didn’t end up following her like you usually did.

The usually silly and lighthearted Y/N was eerily serious and quiet as they stared up at the large, female bodied Titan that was coming right for them. Jean and Armin couldn’t help but take note of this. Y/N was clearly in their own head, otherwise they would’ve noticed Reiner continuously asking out of place questions about Eren the whole time. Their eyes were locked onto the 14 meter tall beast that was sprinting toward them. Y/N, still having a one sided staring contest with the blonde Titan, moved forward, abandoning the formation. The others called out to them but to no avail. A million thoughts were racing through their mind as they went headfirst toward the Female Titan. When they figured they we close enough, they abandoned the horse and grappled their way up to the titan’s face, landing right in the space between its eyes. Y/N kicked it a few times.

“Come in you stupid thing, look at me!” They yelled, attempting to pull its attention away from its primary target. After doing this a few more times, Y/N huffed.

“Alright, I know what’ll get you to look at me.. what if I said, I know who you are!” They exclaimed, staring into the Titan’s left eye. Almost immediately they saw the icy blue orb shift it’s focus to them. They smirked a bit.

“I knew that’d get you. Did you honestly think I wouldn’t notice Leonhart? How could I not when I was always staring into those gorgeous blue eyes? The way your nose curves perfectly? That solemn look you always have on your face that hides that beautiful smile I have yet to see..”

Annie stared at Y/N as they spoke, wondering where they would go with this. She noticed the small smirk on their face dissipate, now having been replaced with a frown.

“If you need me to cover for you Annie, I’d do it in a heartbeat. You know that. I said I would do whatever it takes to become your friend and I meant it. So if it means keeping your secret then that’s what I’ll do. But I’ll be damned if you die by the blades of these babbling idiots! So I need you to promise me one thing Annie.. don’t you dare die! Do you understand me?!” They shouted.

Annie was taken aback by the serious expression on Y/N’s face. It was a side of them she had never seen. Her icy blue eye glimmered in a way that no one else would have understood but Y/N. They immediately knew that was her silent promise. The once serious expression now forming into a soft smile.

“I love you Annie, I hope you know that. And I want to see that smile before I die so take care of yourself okay? Oh and I need you to do me one more favor. I need you to swat me like a fly.”

The emotion in Annie’s eyes shifted, if she had been her normal self right now, she’d have deadpanned at Y/N. They already knew what was going through her mind so they quickly added,

“I’ll be fine don’t worry, if I just go back without either of us having put up some sort of fight, they’re gonna know something’s off.”

Annie took a moment to think about it before raising her large hand. Y/N looked over and noticed the giant hand coming their way so they braced for impact. In less than a second they were sent flying. They tried to get themselves situated mid air as they attempted to grapple onto something before they could get hurt. They successfully managed to grapple onto a tree before landing, lessening the impact but still hurting themselves nonetheless.

“Damn that hurt a lot more than I thought it would..” They said sitting up. Soon they heard the sound of their blonde haired friend calling out to them.

“Y/N!” Armin shouted.

Y/N looked up to see him, Jean, and Reiner all rushing toward them with their horse in tow.

“Oh my goodness are you okay?! What happened?!” Armin asked frantically as he hopped off of his horse to check Y/N for injuries.

“I was trying to get her to eat me.” They huffed, feigning disappointment. Armin just looked at them in disbelief before helping them up.

“Why did she swat you away like that?” Asked Jean. Y/N shrugged.

“Can’t believe I’m saying this but, I guess she got tired of me.”

The three boys shook their heads.

“Classic Y/N, always finding time to make jokes even in the heaviest situations.” Reiner added.

“You know me.” They shot them their signature grin before getting on their horse.

“Cmon, let’s go catch up with the others.” Armin said, getting back on his own horse.

The four of them rode off, wondering what more was to come of this Female Titan.
