I've been thinking about this for a few days now, so I have a question, do you guys have little grey circles that float around your vision? Cause I have my whole life and it distracts me sometimes cause I try to follow them around n shit but I've never really heard anyone talk about them?

the anxiety that comes with a long term ed is crazy..

like i’m not talking panic attacks and insomnia..

i’m talking 24/7 wired, tired, but somehow still high functioning while feeling like you’re buzzing and paranoid with your heart pounding that internal screaming that you can literally hear not being able to sit still or even sit down at all from your mind racing ON TOP OF panic attacks and insomnia..

this is coming from someone with both an ed and an anxiety disorder. i realize that im kind of just describing symptoms that go along with the anxiety but it’s meant to be like that TIMES ONE THOUSAND idk if that makes sense

today’s harm reduction tip of the day (showering edition):

showering (yes, seriously) can pose a significant risk to someone suffering from an ed in terms of falls and passing out. some things you can do to mitigate the risk are:

don’t have the water too hot. a lot of people find that it makes them more likely to pass out and experience symptoms in general. try showering with lukewarm water

try not to take excessively long showers

consider investing in a shower stool and/or a non slip mat. the non slip mat is essential and something you need to have imo

if you feel lightheaded or like you might faint, sit down

turn on the bathroom vent if you have one and keep the door slightly open so steam can escape

consider eating something small before you shower

avoid showering under the influence of alcohol or certain pills
