Happy Pride! This was a quick one, I damn near forgot! I'm new-ish to pride having been closeted throughout my teens; not for lack of support or safety, but rather internal conflicts. Even now I'm perennially shy about expressing my attraction to men as a man, and it's not info I tend to volunteer. So I am forever in AWE of anyone who has the strength to be seen, to be visible and vocal; even if it's just a badge, something small and easily missed by most. I can't express the camaraderie I feel every time.

Not to be dramatic or anything.

'Poor tact leading to accidental foot in mouth Taka' is one of my favourites (followed closely by 'unexpectedly competent Taka in an unusual field) and 'improper' to mean incorrect vs 'improper' to mean indecent is an easy mistake to get tripped up on. Plus Taka espousing 'Uniform Policy' in a school that clearly authorises an insane amount of uniform customisation tickles me something fierce. There seem to be next to no actual rules in Hope's Peak but Taka'd be DAMNED if that stopped him enforcing some kind of order.

(additionally, looking up references for the hallways of the hellscape that is Hope's Peak was a JOURNEY. Bamboo corridor?? Bright red/green/purple lighting?? Reminded me of LCC which felt like a repurposed car park except with Hope's Peak it's a disused 80s strip club -in both cases, a nightmare to attend.)

Saiouma sleeping headcanons!!!

Of course, darling! This is my first ever Saiouma writing piece, so I really hope it turned out great. I had a lot of fun writing this, and I hope it meets your expectations!

-Shuichi and Kokichi’s first time sleeping together was....interesting. Well....interesting would be putting it lightly. Rather.....emotional, for a lack of better words. 

-So....you have Kokichi who finally moved into Shuichi’s home. The first night sleeping together consisted of them facing back-to-back, unsure of what to do. They never really slept with anyone before, everything is so foreign to each other

-Shuichi was lost in thought for a while, yearning to hold Kokichi in his arms and spoon him. Oh, how he desired to cuddle him and squeeze the plush skin that radiated with warmth

-But just when Shuichi mustered up enough courage to even roll to Kokichi’s side of the bed, he heard soft cries coming from the purple haired leader

-”K-Kokichi?” Shuichi asked in a dulcet voice, wasting no time to roll to his side. He hesitated before placing his hand onto Kokichi’s shoulder. This caused Kokichi to jolt a bit from his position, but he managed to face Shuichi. Tears stained his pale face, mumbling about how he was fine

-But not even he could lie about the adventitious thoughts that plagued his mind. Kokichi never felt like this before in his life. His love for Shuichi stung right into his heart, but gradually blossomed into something beautiful. A wonderful emotion he never experienced before: Romantic Love

-”I.......Don’t worry, Shuichi. I just....it was just dust. I’m fine,” Kokichi muttered out, not even trying to create a good lie. Shuichi, of course, didn’t buy it. He smiled gently, pulling Kokichi gently towards his chest. He pressed a gentle kiss onto his head, brushing a lanky hand through his amethyst-colored locks 

-”I know it’s.....new, Kokichi. It’s new to me too. But I promise, we’ll warm up together. Settle down and feel more comfortable. It’ll take time, but.....I just want to be here for you,” Shuichi finished his reassurance with a warm smile, resting his chin on Kokichi’s head

-Kokichi fell silent and didn’t respond. Well....at least didn’t respond loud enough for his boyfriend to hear. His night ended in him just melting into Shuichi’s touch, mumbling a barely audible “thank you” under his breath 

-That night changed everything for the better

-Shuichi and Kokichi still struggle with a sleeping routine where they can go to sleep at the same time. Shuichi is always busy with cases, sometimes fucking up his sleep cycle. He’s usually locked away in his study, his head buried in his literal stacks of paperwork 

-Kokichi, while having an abundance of energy, does wear out with enough pranks and amusing antics he pulls on a daily basis. It’s usually Kokichi’s job to convince Shuichi to sleep, which......well, depending on their mood, can be either easy or difficult to do 

-Sometimes, Kokichi legit had to drag Shuichi to their room and force him to sleep with him. Saying something along the lines of “He was low on Shuichi cuddles”, but really, was concerned about the lack of sleep in Shuichi’s system 

-They usually spoon when they sleep, cuddling is one of their favorite things on both ends. They will never sleep unless they are in some sort of cuddle position 

-Kokichi will be any spoon Shuichi wants him to be. But he loves to be the little spoon, especially when Shuichi feels a bit clingy and touchy with Kokichi. The supreme leader will M E L T into Shuichi’s touch, taking in the warmth and comfort that his arms provide. He just feels to safe with his boyfriend protecting him

-That, and he’s smol 

-Kokichi usually wakes up first and depending on how he’s feeling (and if Shuichi got enough sleep that night) he will ‘prank’ Shuichi awake 

-These ‘pranks’ will usually involve Kokichi jumping on the bed with Shuichi still asleep, drawing on Shuichi with washable marker, sticking post-it notes around his body, shouting “WAKE UP!” near his ear, or just staying on top of him waiting for him to wake up 

-Of course, if Shuichi really didn’t get much sleep that night, Kokichi will let him sleep in. If it was one of those days, he might even surprise Shuichi with breakfast in bed

-It’s 95% of the time burnt, but Shuichi just says he loves it. It makes Kokichi so happy 

-But when Shuichi needs to get up earlier than Kokichi, the supreme leader will just quietly whine, practically pulling Shuichi back towards him. He will go to the depths of hell just to have Shuichi in his arms, just for five more minutes.....

-Of course, if Shuichi really did have to go somewhere important, Kokichi would let him go 

-Without teasing him though. Like....saying something along the lines of “Fine, I guess I’ll be lonely for now~” or “You owe my Shuichi cuddles when you get back home!”

-Overall, Shuichi and Kokichi sleeping together is such an adorable and cute sight to see! I just love ma bois

Ouma Week Day 7: Soulmate / Flowers

The minute I saw this prompt I knew I had to do this. Kokichi’s themed around blue/purple columbine flowers! They’re associated with love and wisdom, and their Victorian flower meaning is “resolved to win”, but they’re also associated with jesters/fools since they sort of resemble a jesters hat.

(For those who don’t recognize it, it’s a fusion with Heartcatch Precure, which is a flower-themed magical girl show.)
