A Teen Female Football First

This article shows how a teenage girl won Player of the Year. She plsyed on soccor and basketball teams in the past, but she showed a natural talent for handling a football. She won a reginoal competition of the NFL’s Puntin 2012. Karlie tried out for the Dallas South Thunder. The Thunder’s coach, Bob Thomas, put KArloe as the team’s quarterback and the defense too. She was the only girl in the team. The honor-roll student combined her intelligence with her love for sports

Do you like Christopher?

Yes, I do like him because he is very funny. I think that his father was a good man turn bad because of his jealousy and anger towards his wife which is Christopher’s mother. I think his mother was just fed up and couldn’t do anything about it and didn’t have a choice so she just left. I blame the father for his faults because he could’ve controlled his actions and not have killed the dog, I sympathize with the mother because she couldn’t take it anymore.

My thoughts about social media haven’t really changed I still think that social media has advantages and disadvantages l still think that social media is helpful in so many ways like making new friends and connecting with people all around the world and sharing your ideas with people

Social Media

My opinion on social media hasn’t really changed through out the weeks. I still think social media helps us in every other way like studies, communication etc..Social Media is not really something negative to look at. It helps us in studies by how we use it.  For example, using tumblr in studies helped all the students in a great way. We have discussed many points, disagreed many or agreed on many points. Main thing is we students is doing something that is helping us in our better understanding of everything. As we have written many things on tumblr on certain points we can look back to them anytime we want. Social Media can be useful and educating if you use it in a precise manner or don’t misuse it.

Isolation

I think Christopher prefers to be alone all the time even though he knows that he’s unable to take care of himself because he is often misunderstood by people that’s why he’s okay with touching animals rather than humans because humans are annoying.

Portraying people’s disabilities in entertainment media is unfair

I think it’s unfair because people with disabilities are already upset because they can’t do simple normal things like other so I think that portraying their disabilities would totally crush them and that is unfair for them because they have right too.

Christopher's decision

Christopher first decides to go live with Ms. Shears because his father lied to him and he doesn’t know if he could trust him again but when he goes to knock on Ms. Shears door she doesn’t answer. He knew he couldn’t go on and live with Siobhan, Uncle Terry, Ms. Alexander, then he decides to go to London to look for his mother and that decision frightens him because he’s never went anywhere by himself but the idea of him returning to his father’s house or hiding in the garden every night is far worse.

Social Media

I used to think that texting was much better than actually talking face to face when i realized that when texting you don’t know what a person’s is thinking, what facial expressions do they have. They could easily lie to you and say something else, while talking face to face with someone you would know what they’re thinking if they’re happy, sad, angry, upset…etc their facial expressions would show what they’re feeling or thinking. Texting is sometimes useful for example like when you don’t feel like talking, or the person you’re talking to is far away from you and if you wanted to say something to that person and you didn’t want anybody else to hear.

How Christopher feels about the world around him

"I think I would make a very good astronaut. To be a good astronaut you have to be intelligent and I’m intelligent. You also have to understand how machines work and I’m good at understanding how machines work. You also have to be someone who would like being on their own in a tiny space-craft thousands and thousands of miles away…" Christopher wants to be an astronaut because he thinks that it would isolate him from the outside world and that he would be in space all the time and that being an astronaut means that you're intelligent and strong enough to handle things like going to space
