There’s an IKEA next to my work where the drink dispenser has a notable delay between when you stop pressing it and it actually stops, so if I am too greedy on my nth “free refill” of the day, it overflows all over my hand.

An ADHD power I believe I experience is that disconnection of tasks and rewards manifests in me separating the concepts of work and income in my head. I work because I work and sometimes money shows up. I think it makes life feel like way less of a grind than it otherwise could, and I appreciate it.
