I'm too tired to actually write this but my brain is plagued with the idea of Laios laying next to Chilchuck in bed and just staring at him. Idk why they're in bed together, perhaps a "there was only one bed at the inn" situation, but chilchuck is asleep and laios is staring at him so intently because he knows (thinks) he will never get a chance like this again and he just wants to take in the image of chilchuck sleeping so peacefully right next to him, and his heart hurts he yearns for him so badly, but he's too afraid to say or do anything so he just stares. he imagines them having a future together, a future where he gets to sleep beside chilchuck every night, gets to hold him in his arms, even, but he knows (thinks) that future is impossible and its nearly brining tears to his eyes.

(then maybe Chilchuck's eyes open and he says hey. are you just gonna stare at me, or are you actually gonna do something? and Laios is so flustered and he doesn't know what to do, so he just tentatively reaches out and takes hold of Chilchuck's hand. And, well. that's not what chilchuck expected but now he's blushing because why is this guy so cute??? and he shuffles closer and opens his arms a little and Laios get the idea and pulls him towards his chest. And though Chilchuck had expected more, now he's just so enamored with poor nervous Laios that he just silently lays in his arms and lets Laios hold him like this will be their only night together and he never wants it to end.)

I want anya to be a short queen. like loid and yor are both relatively tall, and any possible future kids kinda inherit that, but anya remains at anklebiting level. as she should
