seeing the bg3 fandom speculate about the demographics and popularity of certain romances in the player base has inspired me to create a survey so we can finally put to the test if those speculations could be backed up by some hard data

trying to get as many people to fill out the survey so I appreciate this to be shared to as many people as possible, ideally every single bg3 player should take the survey for optimal results

Just because Minthara is the go-to lawful evil companion in the game doesn't justify using her as a scapegoat whenever someone doesn't share your enthusiasm for other more widely favored characters.

For instance, saying, "I don't understand why you dislike XX; Minthara is much more evil. I choose to kill her in every playthrough," implies a personal preference rather than asserting that one character is objectively better or worse than another. Everyone's got their take on the game, and that's what makes it interesting!

Trust me, most Minthara fans are well aware of the kind of character she is; there's no need to persuade us otherwise. We appreciate and like her just the way she is (though we wish for more content). If she doesn't align with your taste, that's perfectly fine. However, actively advising those who enjoy her that they shouldn't or suggesting they should prefer another character because they are considered "good-aligned" isn't something you should dictate. Everyone's entitled to their own preferences.

honestly i love how the faster pace made annabeth seem 900% more batshit. girl watched percy for 45 minutes total and then pushed him into a river. no explanation, no buildup. it’s like the third scene she’s in and it establishes her perfectly. casual drop that she is the head camper of the athena cabin with no explanation as to what that even means. this girl’s soul is 750 years old and does not even care that it’s in a twelve year old body. iconic.

i often think about the moment when fjord said yes when essek asked him if the troops should engage with the tomb takers so the spellcasters could get their rest. still gives me chills. the nein argue who their leader is, and i think after that moment, there was a definite answer.

i think it reflects on Travis as a person too. Matt called him the lion and paladin of the group. He’s a fighter and defender of the ones he loves and cares for, and he makes the hard decisions when they can’t. Travis is an amazing human being and is devastatingly underrated.

I knowww it’s the bad route but when I give Shadowheart an idol of Shar or watch her get Shar’s blessings in the alter underneath Reithwin or pass all of the tests in the gauntlet and see her smile so softly and look so happy and her eyes shine and she thanks me for letting her do these things I CANT HELP IT. GO BABYGIRL BECOME A DARK JUSTICIAR AND BECOME SHARS CHOSEN AND GET ALL THE DOPE ASS GEAR AND ABILITIES. I’m sorry. I didn’t even care for her much when I first started. And I DO like the Selunite ending. And I feel bad for her parents when I do the bad ending. All of her little facial expressions and fulfilling the only dream she knows of having… it gives me such a sense of pride and accomplishment for her.

I haven’t even romanced her yet and when I do I’ll choose the good ending but. I love her. So much.
