Coffee theory

I think by now we all know what it is, but for those who don’t: this theory states that The Metatron put something in / miracle’d Aziraphale’s coffee before giving it to him so he’d agree to come to heaven. This theory is reinforced by a miracle sound when The Metatron gives Aziraphale the coffee.

2. Crowley is Baraquel/Barachiel

During the 1941 Furfur scene, when the demon tries to read Aziraphale’s name, failing comically, the camera shows his book about angels, still in heaven and fallen. Next to Aziraphale’s page, there is a small paragraph about a fallen Angel names Baraquel who, according to the book, was the Angel of stars and had fiery red hair. It is also stated that Baraquel fell. Baraquel might also be a different spelling of Barachiel, one of the seven archangels, tho this is not confirmed.

3. Crowley is Lucifer

This one is pretty self explanatory, though it has little to no explicit evidence, and more subtext. For instance, Crowley being the snake of Eden, him creating starts (Lucifer was also called ‘The Morning Star’), him having red hair (in the ‘Fallen Angel’ by Alexdandre Cabanel, Lucifer has dark red hair, almost brown-ish) and, as far as we know, Crowley being the first Angel to question God and Her choices.

4. Aziraphale is Azrael

Azrael, for those not familiar with angelic mithology, is the Angel of Death and is one of the four archangels of Islam. Like the Crowley/Lucifer theory, this also doesn’t have much evidence, the only possibly being the reason why The Metatron chose him as the new Supreme Archangel.

5. Bullet theory/1941 kiss

Putting these two in one bullet point because they’re basically the same. It states that, after the events of the 1941 minisode, Crowley and Aziraphale kissed, most likely the first initiating it in a similar style to s2ep6. Aziraphale would, however, panick and reject him. His memory of the kiss would then be put inside the bullet of the bullet catch trick, like Gabriel did with the fly. The only difference is that the 1941 theory doesn’t believe in the “memories in the bullet” part, and uses the kiss as an explanation for the “you go too fast for me, Crowley” in the ‘60s when they meet again for the first time since ‘41.
