As a hashtag-90s-kid digital native, I find the popularity of TikTok amongst teenagers to be deeply troubling. Like I'm a 30-year-old grown woman and I still cringe with deep regret about inadvisable dumb shit and terrible opinions I posted on the Internet ten plus years ago; I cannot even imagine a reality where all those dumb imageboard posts and insensitive online rants have got my real ass face and voice attached to them. If I lived in that reality I think I would just shrivel up and blow away in the wind
