To be fair, and I say this with a lot of love, Edelgard is terrible at hiding her secret identity too. Like, she always on the verge on spiling everything because this girl can't stop commenting on the flaws of the system at every moment she got... She's such a dramatic theater girl at heart who deeply long to be truthful, even lying by omission is hard for her.

Also her cool OC that she probably made when she was 12 who's all in red, use heavy armor + axe, has the emperor tittle, and is curiously never in the same place as her is just way too obvious.

I didn’t say anywhere that our dear Edie was good at secret keeping. She also spends the entirety of the CF reunion borderline tackling her classmates to keep them from mentioning just how often she talks about Byleth and then proceeds to be Massively Obvious about her feelings. The only reason she doesn’t win a trophy for worst liar is because she doesn’t tell people her favorite tea is ‘Flame Emperor Juice’. That said, I’ve taught college students who have done dumber, so I’d say this is all just accurate characterization lol

I love how actually shit the three houses characters are at keeping secrets. It’s very funny and so endearing. Flayn walks around hyping up Cethleann, Marianne spends her whole route talking about how she’s ‘cursed’ and ‘dangerous to be around’ and Claude straight up tells people ‘never underestimate an outsider’ when he wins fights. Guys. Please. You’re killing me here. I get that y’all are teenagers, and honestly Flayn is doing a great job keeping her secrets given her entire personality, but Claude. Really? You’re good at this whole scheming thing!! Why is Edelgard, begrudging doer of schemes, doing a better job hiding her whole second identity as the flame emperor than you are at just not telling people you’re from Almyra? Dude.

Why is Jay sitting on the porch writing a 1.7k word paper on her phone? Well you see the paper had to get written and the gerbils in my brain said it was gonna be written on my phone while sitting on the porch and well. It sure is written now.

A lovely bug in my brain is that the longer I go without taking care of basic physical needs, the less I want to do so. Oh I haven’t eaten enough food? Well now you’re too tired to get food. Oh it’s past my bedtime? Well now you’re too sleepy to get ready for bed. Oh you played too much volleyball and now everything hurts? Well now you’re in too much pain to move around so your muscles are gonna stiffen up. Like bitch, please. Work with me here.

I played volleyball for the first time yesterday. And then played for a bit more than 3 hours straight. And then I was peer pressured into playing some more with some other friends today. Goddamn, I am in so much pain rn. My roommate tried to offer me help getting a delivery because she could hear me struggling to walk up and down the stairs. My legs only mostly work.
