Similarity:
To find the K factor of a two fractions, you must divide the two numerators or denominators, depending on where the x is. If the x is a numerator, then divide the smaller demoninator from the larger denominator. Vice versa. After that, you have your k factor. If you’re trying to find x, you multiply the k factor with the only numerator or denomerator you have. That gives you x.
Example:
27/18 and 13/x: 27 divided by 13 = 2.08 (k factor) 2.08 times 18 = 37.44 = x.
