Without the will to even solidify herself, Yu was more than easily dragged along, like a rag doll.     “If you give me one reason to,” she began to warn (although to be honest, given everything, this could be a pretty standard elder sister caution), “I will leave you here to fend the vultures yourself.”

     ❝Heeey, that’s not nice. I’m trying!❞ Nanfeng pouted, but said pout vanished as quickly as it had appeared at her reluctant agreement. Instead, it was almost as though the stars were in her eyes with the abundance of excitement that had swept over her. Was she really going to?!

     ❝Yahoooo! Let’s go!❞ The little crow linked her arm with her elder sister’s, and pulled her along with her, all the while blabbing with her energetic and fast-paced voice. ❝We’re gonna see so many pretty fabrics and shiny things and – ohh! I heard one of the teahouses had this really sweet treat, we could take a break there and try it!❞

    “Your cooking’s horrid.” Oh yes, she knew. After a collective sigh, she continued, “I know this’ll somehow come back to me either way, making it my fault somehow, so I suppose I can spare the energy.”

     ❝I’ll… make you food if you do?❞ Of course she was not mentioning she was dreadful at cooking and prone to burning herself. She always practiced when she was pretty sure no one else was around, so maybe Yu didn’t know–
