THE PERSON IN THE CODE?

ok so i havent seen anyone mention this but mayhaps i just exist on the wrong part of the internet, but the person in the code specifically in ch3+4 says a lot more!!!! which is uhhhhhh concerning (images and consequent theory under the cut)

this is ch3 and ch4 in that order (text from the deltarune text dump, found here)

ok so i have a theory that this is dess (hold for disapproving looks) I KNOW its been said before a billion times BUT HEAR ME OUT! LET ME SAYETH! (also this is all worded weirdly, i am so tired)

my theory is that Dess ISN'T the knight, or at least her soul isnt the knight

this isnt a fleshed out theory at all so please lmk if i have overlooked some crucial information

but essentially what i am thinking is dess's soul is trapped in some sort of artificial body, a vessel if you will, so that some other entity can use her body to fulfill the prophecy

i think that something happened one day while dess and kris (and asriel and noelle, likely) were playing around by the shelter, maybe kris dared dess to enter the shelter which resulted in dess being locked in

"why haven't the police or carol or anyone done anything about this?" i hear you ask? the police force seems, ahem, inadequate at best, and i have a feeling that carol would not want news to go too far that her daughter was part of some delinquent activity (i am calling 'playing outside near off-limits buildings' delinquent activity, carol seems the type to do the same), so any police involvement or Loud Activity near the shelter would inevitably alert the town to Something That Has Happened. Therefore, no involvement is the best way to avoid scandal. (though i don't think Carol is that heartless in terms of abandoning her own daughter in such a dangerous situation, so I think there was the presumption that Dess died, which would also explain the fact that carol has left Dess's bedroom exactly as it was, as a memorial?).

I think Noelle may have been absent from the situation as it seems to me she believes Dess to be missing, based on her search history that is revealed in ch2. I think Kris had some involvement due to the fact they have seen a therapist at some point, maybe they were a witness to the situation, worst case they dared Dess to enter the shelter as part of a larger nefarious plan, but their involvement/witnessing of the scene would have been traumatic enough to require therapy.

Do i think Dess is trapped inside the vessel made in ch1? not necessarily! Do I think this is a way to explain the antlers on the knight without jumping to 'this IS a member of the holiday family'? absolutely but i know there's holes in this theory

I am begging the FDA to require that companies CANNOT just put "spices" as an ingredient but have to label the spices.

"Spices" can mean "this has some oregano and black pepper in it" or it can mean "this has cumin cayenne and paprika and if you eat this you will be sick in bed in pain for a week" for me.

Seriously, this is an allergy issue and a huge oversight on the part of corporations.
