So people have seen that Big Hit has posted quite a few new photos onto their Facebook, mostly consisting of pictures from the I Need U set, and they’re just different angles and perspectives. 

One photo in particular has caught a lot of people’s eyes, and it’s of a flower tattooed onto Jimin’s wrist.

There appear to be some words underneath but it’s much too small to tell right now. This isn’t visible in I Need U at all except for a small blob that you can see in the very corner but there’s no way that you’d be able to tell that was anything until now.

There has to be some meaning behind it. After all, Big Hit is all about clues and hidden things recently.

Looking at it, I simply googled ‘death flower’ and the fourth photo was a striking resemblance to Jimin’s tattoo.

Now the issue is, this flower doesn’t really exist?? It’s weird, but after looking around for about an hour or two, I couldn’t find anything about this flower. There’s no description about it. There’s no wiki page about it’s origins. The source was from a deviant art account that said this photo was from a ‘rose decomposition’ project?? But I’m left super lost with this.

Now either Big Hit is being astonishingly weird, but if they planned this to be an ‘unknown flower’ then I’m gonna flip. The fact that it came up when ‘death flower’ is searched up is already a red flag, plus it’s ridiculous likeness. If this is their way of saying something like Taehyung is gone and he doesn’t exist anymore (basically being dead) then this is just.. wow. Nice planning Big Hit.

Now a more accurate flower, would be the Peony flower. There are several different types but here’s the one that looks the most similar, especially at this angle.

About the Peony, mythology that claims Paeon was turned into a peony so that he can be spared from the natural human death. 

Since a ‘natural human death’ would basically be dying of old age, Jimin is escaping that and taking his own life, unnaturally. 

Jimin’s tattoo is in gray, and if the leaves of the peony bush dry up or the flower fades or will have an unpleasant color, then the family will have to be prepared for a disaster is on its way.

Interesting right?

I’d also like to point out that Hoseok also has a flower tattooed onto the back of his neck that is indeed visible in I Need U.

They even talk about it directly in the making of the music video.

You can see that the one they chose was the one that is circled and it just looks to be a pretty traditional rose (lol hoseok being basic af) with some decorative leaves or vines around it.

This kinda adds up considering how Hoseok and Jimin are paired up during I Need U and the Prologue. Namjoon and Taehyung are paired up, Jimin and Hoseok are paired, and Yoongi and JungKook are also together.

Leaving Jin the only one without a ‘brotherly’ connection towards them as much as the others. I talk about this more in detail here.
