Adjustment
Bucky doesn't remember the last time he went back home. He told Happy to drop him off at Stark Towers, and the boy was there ever since: an adjustment to his new life.
Bucky spent all his time alone, neither Tony nor Steve coming to fetch him. He'd order his Panda Express and curl up in front of the large TV watching either Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty. When the food would start run its course, Bucky would begin to whimper and cry due to the bad stomachache he would receive; And of course, he would have to endure it alone with no Mommy or Daddy to comfort him.
One night, Bucky locked himself up in his room, slowly fabricating a small invention of his and directly disobeying his fathers orders for using tech. The boy told JARVIS to help him find voice recordings of the two people that mattered most to him, and to insert them in his devices.
It was two in the morning when both Bucky and JARVIS finally finished with their project, and the boy felt like he was going to pass out. He cupped the back of one of his devices heads and gave a soft whimper, wiping at his eyes with his spare hand.
"I-I'm sorry.. I don't want to live all alone anymore!" Bucky cried, clutching the devices to his chest and tucking his head down. "I want to go home..."
"Good night, baby. We love you."
