Diapered in Dotonbori 🎌 My friends flew out of Japan before me, so it’s back into Pampers for yours truly! I’ll be going back to (nearly) 24/7 upon my return, so might as well start now. I’ll be crinkling my way around Osaka’s shopping areas today in search of cute stuff to take home, wish me luck!

Padded greetings from Tokyo! 🇯🇵 I know things have been a little quiet on this account lately, but I’ve been distracted with work and preparing for my first international trip in over a decade (including regaining some of the bladder control I lost last year, since I’m traveling with big-boy friends.) I’m hoping to get back to more posts once I return, but for now, I’m just enjoying the view!

Pudge's "Good Boy Calendar" 2023 - November Update

Another month's worth of diapers are in the pail and on the books! Let's see how I did in November:

“Diapered all day” happy faces: 25 (23 needed to avoid punishment)

“No sticky diapers” gold stars: 22 (21 needed to avoid punishment)

"Healthy boy" red apples: 21 (21 needed to avoid punishment)

You might notice those numbers are a little lower than usual, that's because I used one of my four "black out" periods for the year to visit family over Thanksgiving. I only have one of those left, which will be used for Christmas if all goes according to plan. Goodnites are the closest thing to big-boy underwear I allow myself to wear now, and I'm still diapered at night during these periods, so I feel like these little breaks aren't all that naughty. It's still a bit of a struggle to stay on-track with my workouts and earn those red apples, but I'm seeing some positive results, even if it's a slow process.

Still no crib behind me ☹️, but I've seen a work-in-progress photo of it, so I have my fingers crossed that it'll be there for my final calendar update in the new year.

Pudge’s “Good Boy Calendar” 2023 - October Update

I've been in diapers for so long, it's scary! Okay, maybe not, but it has been over 9 months since I last wore non-absobent underwear and I needed to start my October update with something. Let's see how I did this month:

“Diapered all day” happy faces: 28 (27 needed to avoid punishment)

“No sticky diapers” gold stars: 27 (25 needed to avoid punishment)

"Healthy boy" red apples: 25 (25 needed to avoid punishment)

I actually had 28 1/2 happy faces this month, since I took 5 breaks in Goodnites for social events, which each cost me half a happy face - but I think it's best to only count the ones that add up to a full happy face. I feel like I did pretty good with only 4 days without a gold star this month, and it's gotten a lot easier to earn them over the last 9 months, so the calendar program has really been paying off there!

Normally I try to get these updates done on the first weekend of the month, but I was a little distracted last weekend by the arrival of a new mattress for my incoming crib and how to store it in the meantime. There is almost no chance that having a crib won't result in me making a lot more content on here, so I think any tradeoffs are generally worth it. If everything goes as planned, you might see it behind me in the next update!

Pudge’s “Good Boy Calendar” 2023 - September Update

Another month gone by means it's time for another diaper training calendar update!

“Diapered all day” happy faces: 28 (27 needed to avoid punishment)

“No sticky diapers” gold stars: 26 (25 needed to avoid punishment)

"Healthy boy" red apples: 25 (25 needed to avoid punishment)

I think I did pretty good this month, though there is a shameful red frowny face sticker on there from a day where I took a pull-ups break that wasn't for a social or work event, which instantly disqualified me from a happy face that day. Hopefully, that's the last one we'll see this year.

This was the first month where I needed 25 red apple stickers to avoid punishment, which signify that I worked out for at least 30 minutes and generally watched my food intake for the day. I'm not being too strict about my diet at the moment, since getting into a workout routine is where I really needed a push. It's going to be a slow road, but I'm already noticing improvements, even if they aren't evident on camera just yet.

There are only 3 months left to go, so things should be returning to normal around here pretty soon (well, except for my bladder control) and next year will see more of my usual style of posts on this account. Lately, every time I get the urge to make a post, I either need to shoot one of these updates or I've posted a bunch on my side account @diapercheckpudge and I forget that I'm not updating here. I still plan on keeping the program going next year - and already have the calendar ready to go - but I'll mostly be doing it privately. I don't want to jinx anything, but I should probably mention that I've got a crib on-order at the moment, and it'll hopefully be here before the end of the year(!)

Pudge’s “Good Boy Calendar” 2023 - August Update

The diaper training train is still rolling! Let's see how I did in August:

“Diapered all day” happy faces: 29 (27 needed to avoid punishment)

“No sticky diapers” gold stars: 25 (25 needed to avoid punishment)

Looking pretty good overall! I shouldn't be so close to the edge on gold stars, but the requirements went up by a day when my side account @diapercheckpudge hit 1000 followers, so I'm still adjusting. Speaking of adjusting, Sept-Dec include a new requirement to avoid punishment!

Those little red apple stickers you see at the end of the month represent days I've gotten at least 30 minutes of exercise and eaten only as much as needed to not be hungry. I'll need 25 each month for the rest of the year to avoid a punishment. Staying padded the majority of the time (with Goodnites having totally replaced normal underwear when not diapered) has seemingly put me in a sedentary and indulgent mode for most of the year, and it's catching up a little. The calendar system has worked great for keeping me on-track for diaper training, so why not apply it elsewhere in my life?

I've found that working out in diapers can sometimes mess with my back, so I am allowing myself to change into Goodnites for workouts and still earn a happy face for the day, provided I'm not in them for more than 5 minutes on either side of the workout. The end of August was just a warmup period once the apple stickers arrived, so I'm off the hook until September's update.

In other news, I'm still having my bedtime set once a week over on @diapercheckpudge, and haven't missed one yet. In fact, I've got another tonight for 8pm sharp! They can go as early as 7pm, and might increase to multiple times a week later in the year, so they're going to get harder before they get easier.

Pudge’s “Good Boy Calendar” 2023 - July Update

Another month in diapers means another monthly update! Let’s jump right to the final numbers:

“Diapered all day” smiley faces: 28 (26 needed to avoid punishment)

“No sticky diapers” gold stars: 27 (24 needed to avoid punishment)

I feel like I did pretty good this month, though there are several half-smiley days where I took a short break in pull-ups, mostly due to an increase in social events during summer. I tried (and succeeded!) to keep myself to just one day without a gold star per week, which is my general goal from here out and should still leave me a little room for an occasional slip-up without earning a punishment.

My side account, @diapercheckpudge​ reached over 1000 followers in July, so my monthly requirements have increased starting in August to 27 smiley faces and 25 gold stars. I’m already close to 1100 at the moment, so there is a possibility of hitting 2000 and my requirements increasing even more before the end of the year!

I know I said this last month (before a major deadline at my job got moved forward by a full week) but there are some Petey Pottypants stories that have pictures ready to go, I just need to find the time to write them. I’m hoping that things should pick up on this account sooner than later, as a big work project I started in February is finally over and my work-life balance should be a bit better than it has been lately.

Pudge’s “Good Boy Calendar” 2023 - June Update

Hello everyone, and Happy 4th of July to my American followers! I’m just hanging out in my USA Mickey romper (not to mention a Str8Up & XL booster) and doing my monthly calendar update. Apologies that this account has mostly been these updates lately, I’ve just been busy with work, but I do have 3 different photos already shot for future Petey Pottypants stories, so those should be coming soon.

Like I mentioned in May’s update, I was on the road for about 8 days in June while attending a family memorial - and while I was padded the whole road trip there, I needed to use one of my four “black out” periods while taking a pull-ups break around my relatives. I only have two more of those, which will probably be used over the holidays, so hopefully I won’t need any before then. Anyhow, 22 days fully in diapers isn’t too bad, but hopefully July’s numbers are stronger. The only actual frowny face this month was from my first full day back home, when I spent a little too long out of diapers while letting my skin air out after bath time and was thus disqualified from earning a smiley for the day. Long story short - I managed to avoid a punishment this month, but not by much.

My side account connected to the calendar program, @diapercheckpudge, is exactly 100 followers from 1000 at the moment - at which point my monthly requirements go up by one (27 "diapered all day” smiley faces & 25 “no sticky diapers” gold stars,) so I’m expecting August to be a little tougher.

July is also the half way point for the 2023 calendar program - so it’s time to introduce a new element to the @diapercheckpudge​ account and raise the stakes just a little. Starting today, the person who has sent me the most diaper checks since January, @newsie24601, has been appointed to the position of “senior diaper checker” and now has the following privilege:

Bedtime setting: Once each calendar week, @newsie24601 can set Pudge’s bedtime for the day, with 7pm being the earliest possible time. Pudge will reply to the bedtime message at the set time, showing that he is changed into a thick nighttime diaper and tucked into bed. If Pudge is unable, or unwilling, to go to bed at the set hour on that day, the number of days the bedtime applies to raises by one until the bedtime requirements have been fulfilled. If all bedtimes haven’t been fulfilled by the end of the month, Pudge will earn a punishment (a small buffer will be allowed for bedtimes sent on the last 2 days of the month.) To allow Pudge time to plan his day accordingly, bedtimes must be submitted by noon pacific time - after that time, they will apply to the next day.

I tend to stay up too late for someone still in diapers, so this will hopefully help me adjust my sleep schedule on a whole to something more appropriate for a big toddler such as myself. If you’re not familiar with the calendar program, I’m pushing myself to wear diapers as much as possible this year - click here for the full breakdown.

Pudge’s “Good Boy Calendar” 2023 - May Update

Okay, so normally I would write a whole update about how I did a pretty good job of staying padded throughout the month of May, but I’m about to head out on a big trip and am doing my best to squeeze this update in before I hit the road to avoid breaking my rules about keeping everyone updated in a timely manner. The stickers tell you all you really need to know anyhow. I don’t normally shoot these at 6am in my nighttime diaper, so you’ll have to forgive me if it’s not the best shot ever.

I didn’t get to any additional posts on this account last month, which bums me out, but I have a few things planned for the future that hopefully I’ll get to in June.

Pudge’s “Good Boy Calendar” 2023 - April Update

Another month in diapers on the books! April really flew by, not unlike a certain cantankerous duck I know.... Anyhow, you might notice a handful of black dots on the “good boy calendar” this month. Thats because I was out of town on an unavoidable work trip, which is one of the events that qualifies for a black-out period. Normally, I need 26 smiley faces (representing 26 days in diapers) to avoid punishment, but this month I only needed 22 after accounting for the black-out days. I was still in pull-ups all day and diapers at night, so it wasn’t like I took a full break. I only get 4 of those periods this year, so I’ll have to choose the next 3 wisely (I have a trip in June, so really only 2 left!) The shameful red frowning faces at the end of the month were a shorter weekend trip to see family - thankfully I was a good boy all month, so I still made it past the 22 smiley face minimum. As always, gold stars are right up to the limit, but not past it!

“Oh, don’t worry about him, baby is just fussy about being demoted to 6-month-old status after his little meltdown at the playground yesterday. Poor lil’ lamb had finally been promoted to solid foods a few weeks ago, but I guess it’s back to strained peas and spoon feedings until his attitude improves. Best to just let him struggle, he’ll wear himself out soon enough, and he’s such a little angel when he’s sleeping. Anyhow, I’ll have my phone with me, but the number of the restaurant I’ll be at with my date is on the counter just in case - have fun you two!”

Pudge’s “Good Boy Calendar” 2023 - March Update

Another month of 2023′s calendar program has come to a close, so it’s time for the final tally. I did very good with diaper wearing this month, with only 2 pull-up breaks early on and practically 4 straight weeks in diapers thereafter. I didn’t do as good on gold stars, where I used up quite a few early on and really had to watch myself in the last two weeks to make the 24 needed to avoid taking a punishment. It’s been over two months now since this program started, and I’m definitely very comfortable when it comes to wetting my diapers at this point (sometimes forgetting whether or not I’ve wet recently until I check myself) but I’m still able to hold it when needed. My control hasn’t been this loose since I was a kid, but it’s for sure still there. This upcoming month includes a trip out of town, so it’s very likely I’ll take far more pull-up pauses from diapers, but I’m currently committed to avoiding big-boy underwear at all costs.
