tbh i've started using AI for real only the last couple months, and i still think it's immensely dystopian to use it for personal communications or as a replacement of our mental frameworks BUT...

i've found it insightful for research, brainstorming, and even building documents*

*yesterday i drafted a meaty job proposal using the back and forth i had with my potential employer as main input, and the output was very good. of course im editing a lot and adding stuff by myself, but i gotta admit that having the LLM make up the structure was extremely convenient, especially because i was kind of on a deadline (makes the usage of AI feel more "excusable")

also, when i already have the structure, having a chatbot by my side (in this case gemini inside gdocs) comes very handy. i try to hide it when i want to tackle the big picture stuff by engaging in some Deep Thinking®️ myself though.

and crucially, i told the other person when i sent him the document that i built it with a lot of AI assistance, transparency is key!
