Quite fasinated by the strange xeno tech they kept looking over the microwave system as they shifted and moved around it like terrier who found something interesting. A mumbled acknowagement came from them as they were still leaning over to examin the difference, till they snapped out of curious investigation. "Oh of course, my friii....lord. I wouldn't of dared of fathomed you had anything in mind at this moment."
Pulling out a pad of recipts, from their pocket, they wrote down their own vox number for dealings of specialized clients. Ripping it off the paper pad, they trotted over. "This is my phone number for any further communications for trades." There was a moment of hesitation as they recalled the sharp powerlessness invoked previously by the marine before snatching away and giving up their vox number to the space marine. "And please enjoy your parts Lord. I do hope they can assist you in your... hobby." The word didn't feel right when talking to a space marine but there wasn't really anything better to use for a superhuman that could crush Eban in one hand if they so felt like it.
"So you are the merchant that anything anyone may want, within reason. It is good that I found you. Some things are just hard to find."
Achilles kept his voice calm, but one could notice his discomfort at interacting with a stranger from the twitching at the ends of his mechadendrites.
They noted that someone entered the premises from the noise they made. And they must of saw them as they were cleaning the backroom just behind the counter. "Within reason." Eban purred out as they dusted off their hands before leaning gingerly on the counter that needed much repairs. "What can I locate for you? I may have it in stock even if I am... uh still repairing the shop. You will have to excuse the mess
I will need time if I don't have it on hand. Beaware times and pricing can change based on the exotic nature of items." Noting the slight nervious twitching of the mechanical limbs before them they shifted their position to remain further behind the counter further back then before in an attempt to place them more at ease. Setting their hands on their waist, they give their speil. "I do biologic to mechanical. Living to dead. The whole item or just parts. Name your want and I will retrieve it."

With the exiting of the astartes, Eban nervously watched them with the heavily restrained reverence for their status and terror of the astartes deciding to take offense to them. Pulling back the flaps of the truck and dropping the back of the truck so the marine could take the supplies as their eyes settled on the weaponry in the metallic limbs of the tech marine. Tugging their hood further up over their face to hide from the ball of plasma.
"I wouldn't dare take more then you can paid for Lord Achilles." Eban called out as they rubbed their fingers on the inside of their coat, uneasy without the comforting steel frame work of buildings and walkways, they were adjusted to. The place was far to open for them. " You can set the weapons on the back of the truck once you make sure all your requested parts are the...re." with the appearance of the servo skull they faltered for a moment before they openly watched the servo skull and the strange device saying under it. "Eh..?" This was the first time the merchant has ran into something so mundane from the xenos. Puzzled and the tempered spark of curiosity lit up inside as they curiously stepped forward, faltered, then continued forward to lightly touch the box through the rope net. "Domestic xeno tech? I ...well if this is an open offer. I would like to look over such oddities. Its not a opportunity that opens up to someone like myself very often. Maybe later future transactions can be settled on or standing credit if you are willing to release some to my possession?" A dull brown eye watched the tech marine with caution glimmering in them due to previously being lifted by the super human.
Not pressing their personal safty they figured to play it safe. Mainly as astartes in stories were not anyone they wanted to cross with the destruction the stories spoke of. And with the recent display of power in the recent history, they personally felt like a twig that could of been snapped in the marine so much thought to flex.
"So you are the merchant that anything anyone may want, within reason. It is good that I found you. Some things are just hard to find."
Achilles kept his voice calm, but one could notice his discomfort at interacting with a stranger from the twitching at the ends of his mechadendrites.

Standing in front of the closed shop, sleepy eyes stare at the door as they peer in to get a peek of the inside. Looks like the renovations have finally finished for security. Tapping their chin as they recalled the astartes that came to their door sweat beaded on their brow that crinkled in concern. Maybe not secure enough for an angry marine but just about anything else should be halted. Theoretically. Sighing they unlocked and open their door as the illness really did them in and getting away for a while seemed like an good idea at the time. But it probably did damage on some level about the disappearance of the shop keeper.
Ducking into the back they rapped a sequence out before starting to change out of their wildly colorful getout to their normal protections. Out of the darkness a kroot silently emerged. "I thank you uh..for protectin' the shop and all. Here is the second half if your payment with the additional pay for the time taken." Catching the back of a case to slide it over to the kroot, Eban continued redressing in their drab outfit as the colorful mash of cloth laid crumpled on the floor.
Brushing invisible dust off their coat that they just dawned on, they stretched out before starting to go through stock and the back log as they start setting up the front for the non special clientele. Falling back into the easy routine Eban used this time to collect their metals state from the calm vacation time. Already missing vacation, the merchant started smoking a lo-stick

Eyes lingered on the tech marine writing down the address before snapping up to look towards their head. Uncomfortably Eban shifted from foot to foot as they poked their fingers together as they dug up what information they knew of astartes which was little on the sparse side. "Eh... well cash would be nice but I do trade in strange goods or favors as well. Seeing your... status..." Trailing off the one eye shifted away. "So any xenos artifacts or body parts would do or even one weapon from a ruinous fallen astartes would more then cover this and 4 other trips for cogintator parts." Might as well try before giving the pricing for it in just the plain get pricing. " or be unexciting and its just 5500 gelt... lord astartes." Just it slid off Eban's tongue in a strange rolling unnatueral manner with them pricing an astartes in such a mundane manner of pricing. It twisted that service manner strangely in their mind as they did not know why it felt so wrong even if it is what they tell everyone.
Cautiously they reach out for the paper, tense with being seized again by the astartes. Flexing their fingers before snatching the crap of paper as eyes watched the mechadenrites with learned caution. Fast to step back into the doorway with the illusion of safty. " I will see you in a week then and collect payment then."
Lightly rubbing their wrists the are less then comfortable with the idea of the iron grip that was holding them moments ago. "And uh well I'm going to probably be at a distance when you come out. Not keen on being in a hold again."
Eban's lips curled down as they looked at the coordinates then out to the sandscape before them as the hive doors closed behind the truck. No wonder the tech marine said to call him if they couldn't find the place. Throwing the truck into all terrain they start the long trek out as they follow the road as long as they can before having to take it across the sand itsself. Noting the coordinates of where the road was they turn off at the appropriate spot as they relied on paper maps of general terrain that was marked up with dangers. After a few hours Eban slowed to a stop to popout and climb up on the truck to look around as they should be close. As the heat burned in with the sunlight beating down it made it hard to see where the settlement may be.
They were about to open up coms on the vox box when a silver of color was seen through the heat distortion. Panting slightly under their armor they start to unclip the sides as they slide off the back of the truck. Removing the armor, Eban shoved it into the back before airing out their chest as they pulled the under shirt to shake out any means of cooling off before clambering back into the blessed shade. Starting slowly towards the hints of color Eban slowly pulls near to a camp.
Wary of this being the wrong place, their eyes pull off the hard rock out cropping and temporary bulkheads that someone has set up. The sandy orange stone did make it hard to make out how far back the opening among the seemingly deep and well protected cavernous ravine. Difficult to tell as there was somw sort of material blocking out any prying eyes. The only thing that gave this place away was the smallest hints of grey bulkheads on top. Stepping out cautiously and curiously as eban normally is safe in the metal tubes of the hive city, Eban got as close as they could to the edge to look down into the breaks in the rocks revealing lights under some sort of canvas not too far down as this was such an odd experiance for them.
Making sure the right vox channel and number is in Eban opened up communication. "Lord Achilles? Eban here. I belive I am at the right spot. I am not far from what looks like an armored entrance." Getting back into the truck they reach in to grip the plasma rifle for protection. Huddling in the shade of their own truck they keep an eye out for anyone approaching as they were deeply uneasy with the open nature of being outside the city
"So you are the merchant that anything anyone may want, within reason. It is good that I found you. Some things are just hard to find."
Achilles kept his voice calm, but one could notice his discomfort at interacting with a stranger from the twitching at the ends of his mechadendrites.

Eban slowly opened their eyes to take in a ceiling that wasn't their own. Blincking slowly they grimiced as all their muscles protested the act of pushing themselfs up. Blincking, slowly their focus drifted from one object to another. A violent fit of coughing over took them as they curled up as hammering pain hit their lungs and back rythimicly to each wheezing breath. Leaning over the edge of the cot clear geletin like vomit splattered across the floor. Breathing heavily as each breath felt like a workout on its own, they hardly heard an approaching figure.
"Ey there miss Eban. Thich is nice to see you're up missth. Was plum worried about ja." Eban's hand touched their chest to feel no armor and just a thin shirt covering their chest. Attention sluggishly turned to the speaker before slumping back. Neon purple hair fanned up as a young woman with a rebreather on peered over them. Pearl grey eyes looked down, colored by the dim glow of the eletro tattoo giving a more blue tint. "Well yur doin' betta. Yur awake now. Been takin' care of yu since I found ja collapse behind some boxes burning hotter then a malfunctioning cogger."
Dull back of the mind dread of this ganger scum taking care of her nagged at the darkest reassess of her mind as she feels the jabbing hardness and stretched pain of being force to sit up as a water cup is put to her lips. Grimacing she forced the water down before summoning more energy to keep up and keep drinking. Voice hardly more then a whisper Eban forced out a thanks after the last drops of what passes for water made it over her lips. "Eh don't worry bout it miss. Can't have yu dying on the boss. He's sweet on yu."
The unfiltered expression of distain was clear as the illness burned away any customer service niceties Eban would normally have. A half snarl curled her lips back as a heavy hand thumped sown and rubbed her hair. "Not that the boss knows whats under yur armor. He is sweet on what yu can bring to him. But ev'a want a better deal come dressed as a lady miss."
Effort and force is put behind the voice to be shades louder as the webing of phlegm muffled the effort. "What do you want?" Hating to be caught in situations of weakness and the games of cat and mouse she figured it was easier to rip the bandage off now then suffer the game.
"Nothin'. Cept put in a good word to the boss or get me a better gig. Short seeming gains for longer deals you see." Dull eye watches the pearly greys before nodding and sliding back to rest.
"Sure kid.... better jobs." Closing her eyes she relaxed into the sickness and let the ganger take care of her as she needed to rest to get over what ever illness had gripped her.

A soft sigh of relief was breathed our as nothing xenos is in the eye. And that their old friend sounded as if they were still in love with their creations just like a normal cog boy. The pained whine of rejecting or accepting the upgrade pulled at the merchent. "Alright you really did sweeten the eye since we last talked. And its not like you are trying to inject biologic means of ....skills. I am tentively agreeable for the possable upgrade. It is just a normal eye surgery procedure? And would work fine with the mechanical eye in the other socket." Tapping in indecision but this did mean they can see each other in person after all these years. "Sure even if it turns into a chance to just lay eyes on you and your ...er altered flesh. I do worry about what you get up to, especially since we are the only pair left after... the event." Their tone dropped into unease as they recalled their shared pain. Voice softened as all other noise stopped from looking at their lists. "But it would be nice to see a friendly face. Hopefully you left enough I will reconize."
Hey Theseus
I know my last message may be a little out dated by 5 years but I do still need that protection. Whatever you got in mind preferably something that isn't going to expire in 6 months.
Cheers Eban
"Oooh, here's one for me... and I only just was introduced!"
[a clicking, scraping noise, somewhere between metal and chitin scraping against deck plating]
"Oh Eban, it's so good to hear from you... I was worried you might have expired... well... if you're still in need of protection, I have some lovely options for you... did you need dermal reinforcement grafts? Skeletal strengthening? Or perhaps... something more dramatic?"
[there's a gleeful chuckle that slides between a biological tone and a mechanical one before it goes back to the same soft baritone, slick as oil across a deck plate]
"I have what you need... or I can always grow it... and for an old friend... I'll even give you a discount."

The one eye flicked up to gauge the tech marine's expression before down to the data slate to only bounce back up in wariness. Slowly they exited their range away from the man's reach to get closer to examin the picture on the display. Melting into bussiness they reached out and got the display to zooming as they were looking on a particuler area of the machine to get exact specs they would need.
Their body was still tense and now stiff moving as they flick their fingers over to see of there were any other odd markings. A much rarer cogintator which people arnt looking for parts for. But oddities and unusual were what Eban prided themself on. Removing their hand to tap on the side of their head thinking about when was the last time they checked before patting them selfs down for their own data slate. Scanning through it, fingers glided over as they highlighted what they could find. Soon they frowned as they had most of the parts as they located it but the power sorce they had was unexamined and may not be structurally viable. "I have theoretically all the parts. However the power sorce I have that would work has not been examined. If you want the power source I can give it at a scrap price.or you can wait a week and I can deliver this to a place of your choosing with a working power source. I just do not have all my supplies here at this time as well..."
Casually gesturing around the bare shelving and dust covered surfaces. "Still getting the shop ready. Other wise I can get the parts to you today with the scrap priced power sorce. Just will take me a few hours to get them to you." Looking up then further up the merchant retreated further away as they rubbed at the arm holding their data slate. Wincing slightly as consciousness turned to the complaints their joints had about being in close range of the astartes when he took offense to their eye.
"So you are the merchant that anything anyone may want, within reason. It is good that I found you. Some things are just hard to find."
Achilles kept his voice calm, but one could notice his discomfort at interacting with a stranger from the twitching at the ends of his mechadendrites.

Placing their hand on their cheek they went through the mental processes to see if there was some way to detect working conduets in the wall before giving up. Looking around they frowned as there were no heat signatures either even if there was only wires that should be producing them. When Ash said something they shifted uneasily bouncing ever so slightly foot to foot as they made sure their muscles were limber and ready for conflict. Scanning the area again they did not pick up any lingering or new heat signatures as they rested their hand on their sawed off shotgun.
"Typically they don't. Just hope springs eternal." Caustion pulled at Eban as they wondered if the rogue trader saw something for a moment. With the other coiled to strike, Eban kept ready as they placed caution into the world with how poorly this may turn out if something living was down here with them. Stepping forward they moved with cautious pacing as not to run headlong into if something else was here. Of their friend saw something, unaware of the other's unseen powers.
More life flickers at a distance as the lights warp and seem to be tainted with different colors.
“How is this growing here, I don’t understand?” -Ash
"Special seedbed and these light fixtures." Eban says as they nervously touch on the machete before moving their hand to the long handled trimmers. Its not the first time they have seen this kind of set up. Slowly cutting the gnarled brambles out of the way as the dim glow of the power tool dips in and out of the thick leaves. The orange glow of burnt leaves shimmer in the dark as they burn away from the power field with fain snaps and pops. Pushing the rebreather back into place to keep any strange plant material out of their mouths and nose, they step further in. Lifting a foot to a high point on the waist height bushes, they crush down the remains to continue forward. Carefully moving to make sure they can keep their fitting on the springy flooring of dying branches and plant matter. Tugging their jacket free from the grasping branches, they call back over their shoulder. "I can always get the materials for this kind of set up for a price."

A sigh was heard as they didn't have to collect bodies, just needed genetic samples from people. But the nervious clearing of their throat when reminded about the value of their eye was brought up with the sharp scraching strokes of the voice box, " ehhgg.. I will be sending along such information as i collect the information. And will need a recalibration soon it has been a while since a proper mantinance... since the last incident involving a tech priest."
There was a long pause of pregnant curiosity as there was light tapping of fingers drumming on the table. Till the hum of indecision melted into full curiosity, "what do you mean you have an eye for me. That was years...What...did you ermm.. build into it's genetics?" Unsure curiosity and hesitation to their voice was clear as a rock hitting the bottom of a well as they pulled on the offer to see what comes out of it.

"Terrifying. And I need to remember to collect some later." If there was anything suitable for putting the burnt cutting into when they came back out. Sounds like a plant that would have uses to some buyers, desperate ladies, unhappy husbands, politicians and other such sorts. Hooking their tool on some of the brambles on the way they push the edges away and to the side before hopping down onto solid ground. The burning ozone dwindles off as the tool powers down as Eban takes the time to adjust their light globe.
The faintest flicker of life shimmers through the wall but the flash of life was swift and vanishing like a rabbit into the under brush. But what ever the bright shine was was just on the edges of Ash's warp infused senses through the thick concrete and steel walls of the abandoned complex.
"Supposeably there is some long forgotten trinkets and gear here. Just im supposed people avoided this place like its haunted."

Eban could not hide the fact they were shaking as the tech marine was examining them for lies in their words. Thankfully the truth was enough as a sigh of relief escaped them with the tech marine moving to let them down. Moving their legs off the counter they let the weight pull hard on their joints till they were blessedly released. With aching muscles they rub out their shoulders and elbows as they cautiously keep closer to the door to the back room now.
"Youth, foolishness, with a dash of desperation and a breeze of invincibility with a friend's skills." hoping the smaller door frame would keep the tech marine from reaching them easily again the merchent was keen on this whole ordeal to be over and them out with what ever they wanted. "I learned a lesson with it." As well as a lesson now that they should not take off the partal mask even when setting up.
Breathing out, their shoulders drop as this was not what they thought meeting an astartes would be like and were now tempering their expectations of the super soldiers to what they did once thought. But their eyes never leave the techmarine as they kept on guard for any more unpleasant suprises.
"So you are the merchant that anything anyone may want, within reason. It is good that I found you. Some things are just hard to find."

Surprise and fear shattered the merchant's expression. Hands were fast to move as they started to kick back before the steel hold of the hands tightened about them as they were lifted off the floor. Scraping and thumping of their feet hitting the counter as they looked for anything to get a purchase on anything that could get any form of leverage as their fear turned to pain at being held. Admiration was swiftly draining into absolute terror as they only heard of the speed an astartes could move and if they hadn't just experienced it it was going to be relegated to something to spice up stories. And personally Eban did not know what the astartes would do to them which was absolutely terrifying compared to the known horrors.
A plume of dust came up with the merchent as their eyes watered in the unrelenting hold. And their words were sharp in their demands as they flinched as if each sylable was a knife. "Magosfriendblew outteheyeinahexperiment ofhisthiswastherefundhegave me." A heavey whump of their boot striking the top of the counter they angled themselfs so not all of the gravity was tearing their poor joints from gravity even if there were more deadly ones currently entangling their arms. "Frak!" The voice broke its neutral tone as a more higher pitched vocals sound out after a few panicked gulps of air fill their lungs. Adjusting as much as they can to not feel like their arms are about to pop out they pant as sweat starts to coat their brow. "I promise you its from a magos I know. Weird guy even for a mechanicus likes wibbably goopy stuff fleshy stuff. Not chaos or heretech just weirdly fleshy obessessed. The air pressure to the eye needles were too high so it popped my eye and splattered it across the room like fraked up jello. He offered to make a new eye but I told him he could shove it with any new fleshy thingys he wanted to try. So he gave me a cybernetic eye." a high whine of distress sounded out between their teeth as there were moments they thrashed their upper body unsuccessfully against the solid hold on them. Even with stretching their hand out to try to slip free failed as they continues their panicked breathing as they didn't know if the truth would satisfy the tech marine.
"So you are the merchant that anything anyone may want, within reason. It is good that I found you. Some things are just hard to find."

Eban paused to look over their shoulder when mentioned it was hard to grow these plants. A thoughtful expression looked down at the massacred plants behind them about their difficulty in growing. "Toxic huh? I suppose thats why they are being used as a passive defence."
Moving a bit slower, Eban was clearly using more time to mangle more of the bushes to make sure they would not poke through their armor or cloth. "Well uh thanks for the update. Plants ain't my interest. So what effects comes with these plants if they get you?" H
Suppose it was lucky that they did bring down a decent rebreather but limited supply of filters. Using light to look ahead they breath out as they see an opening in the brambles to get deeper into the possibly abandoned complex. A careful pace of cutting stepping on and moving was set as they cleared a way towards freedom from the plants.

There was not much set up security wise in the shop as of yet. Few heat signature of several ptera squirrels could be located in apparent nestd they have made in the shop. But in the back a few non imperial weaponry flickered to the scans of the well kept astartes scanner. Clearly xenos in make from Tau, Eldar, Drukhari and a few digital weapons sized for a normal mortal. But other fairly mundane goods and expected grey market items were picked up just in the back. The only thing his scanner returned as a massive blank spot clearly hiding any kind of weapon in it was something just in the counter.
But the most curious implant was under the hair covering of their hidden eye. A high quality cybernetic eye of a high ranking magos or should be high ranking member of the mecanicus should have rather then a peddler in the silent trade.
However the smile could only hide their stunned terror admiration of the astartes for Eban. As the shock of what they were seeing was wearing of they were frozen in place from a mixture of fear and the wonder of seeing a mthical space marine. Sweat beaded as they screamed in their mind to move or say something more then praticed and recited for years. A high pitched squeek of a voice finally forced its self out "o-o-of course lord I geh right let me get that for you."
A mad scrabble of shaky legs, panic and excitment clawed deep and hooked into Eban's heart. Once in the back they finally let them selfs gasp in a breath as prickly technicolor static push back as they grip one of the shelfs for a moment before driving them selfs forward as they looked for the proper box of what was requested. Trembling fingers brushed off lables as they breathed in rapidly as there. Silently they chided themselfs that they should be better then this they fumble with the locks on a large crate. Even if it was an astartes, myth made flesh, they really should be professional about this. It was just a customer.
Mummbling softly to themselfs they start the process of trying to wrap up their thoughts before returning, "just get the stuff and pretend he is a handsome ogyrn... Or has giantism. Come on. You deal with pirates, imperial, nobles, dark cultist, and xenos this shouldn't be so infatuated. Its not like he is an arbiter coming to bust you. He just wants supplies. Ughnn.." Straining their mind their back tighten and feels as if someone is plucking their muscles.
Yanking their gloves on to handle electronic parts they slide out one of their cushioned cases to start placing the parts requested. Unscrewing the mother board from a metal sheet took the longest as it was well tucked in a crate requiring them to move other layers. Grabbing the crate in a death grip as the edges painfully push into their palms and edges entrench into their finger. Breathing deeply they will some sort of invisible intangible courage to stabilize them selfs to face the astartes again.
Voice back to the cheery customer tone, Eban steps out and towards the counter, "sorry that took longer then it should of. Things are not quite fully set up my ..."there was a sharp pause as the smiling face cracked slightly in a twitch of panic as the mechent did not know what to use, "Lord! Please look over the stock and let me know if I need to do any changes as I know cogintators come in various sizes." The voice dipped into strained waver periodically as they tried so hard to hide their general excitment and fear. Setting the box down they pry their hands off the one thing hiding the trembling before they slipped their hands into their pockets.
Ooc: sorry! I didn't know he was a tech marine!
