Im getting more and more lost by the second, so how do you end up deciding who gets in and who doesn't? If its not first come first serve nor skill based?

We asked every applicant to name the producers they wanted to work with in order of most-preferred to least-preferred. We assign producers based on which applicant put them higher on their list compared to the rest.

If the producers the applicant named have all been more prioritized by other applicants ,then that applicant most likely won't get in.

You can find a more detailed answer on our Q&A and in our website. If you're still confused, feel free to tell us and we'll share an example of the process.

RESULTS POSTPONED!

Our priority while reviewing applications is to assign producers as accurately and fairly as possible, which is why we are extending the reviewing period by 5 days.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Results will be sent on January 20th! See you then!

The zine will mainly focus on Vocalo-Ps ,but artists can work with producers who use other vocal-synths too! Many people are already requesting to do so in their applications.

Hi Everyone!

We're Backstage, a zine dedicated to all the people behind the vocaloid music and characters we love!

In this Zine,Artists will be assigned a vocaloid producer of their liking and create a piece that represents their music. They will also be free to take inspiration from illustrators who have worked with said composers, and draw characters that appear on their music videos.

We're opening an interest check for participants, you can ask questions on the form below or ,if you prefer,you can always send us a DM.
