By this point Zhongli should've grown accustomed to bringing along some mora with him, but mora was the last thing on his mind around the lively bard. If he were home then he could have called someone from the funeral parlor to help him out; however, he didn't really know anyone in Inazuma. Why did the fansign for his group have to take place here? Shaking his head, he pressed the fingertips of his right hand against his head, a soft sigh escaping his lips.

"I assure you we had no intention of doing anything to upset the shogun. The bard suggested that borrowing her weapon would be the fastest way of getting her attention." It was perhaps the stupidest plan on the planet, but again the bard made it sound like the perfect solution to the problem at the moment. Zhongli had the feeling that the bard might have wanted to cause chaos more than seeing their friend.

Lowering his hand, Zhongli rubbed his chin, his eyes studying the bill laying on the table. Any minute now the server would return expecting payment for their meal. What should he do? "I honestly didn't think that he would abandon me at the worst moment. Even now I feel like he's watching me from afar with an amused expression." He lowered his hand to his side as he glanced in the young woman's direction.
