Day 8. Today I didn’t really set out to work out, but I walked 2.6 miles while on the phone. I don’t know how much that will actually do for me, but I think it’s significant enough to record it!

Day 7. I almost never wear shorts to the gym because I’m terrified of being judged for my legs. But today I decided to conquer that fear. It did not feel great, honestly. No one else was even there but I still worried about people seeing my thick legs and cellulite. I did the treadmill for 15 minutes with the incline on 4.0 and the speed at 3.0.

Day 6. So yesterday I decided to take a rest day. If there’s anything I learned from Taralynn Mcnitt, it’s that it’s important to take rest days sometimes! Today I took a nice walk for almost two miles! That’s felt great! This photo is post run, pre push ups, squats, and ab workouts :)

Day 4. I was feeling pretty gross and uncomfortable in my skin for a lot of today. That made me want to get my workout in even more! I had a pretty short workout, but it still felt good. Did a little elliptical workout for about 5 minutes, but it was TOUGH. I had a really nice stretch afterwards and did some ad and arm workouts!

Day 3. Today I spent a nice day at the pool and then took a nice run/walk this evening :) It was about 1.3 miles! I feel great!

Day 2.
I forgot to snap a pic before or after my workout, but I decided to take a little 25 minute run/walk! It was about 1.15 miles (I mostly walked.) And even after just doing that I feel energized and ready for another day to get closer to my goal!!!

Day 1. Again. So not to long after my last post, I started a job that kept me really busy. Unfortunately that also kept me from getting my health into check. But I’ve had it. I’m in the worst shape of my life and I DO NOT plan to see it get any worse. Here’s to the beginning of a diet and exercise that will, if all goes as planned, begin to transform my life. That’s what these next 12 months are about. Changing and growing and earning back my health!! LETS GO

Day 7 & 8. Yesterday I started the morning off right and made some delicious breakfast tacos. I did some job hunting for a while and then went for another jog. I beat my time from the day before by a landslide, which I am very happy about because I was extremely sore and was not expecting that! Today started off pretty good! I kicked off the morning with some bare oatmeal and added some fresh blueberries into the mix. I skipped out on the run today, but I did get to spend time with a good friend and see a movie I have really been wanting to see which was good for my mental health honestly. Today was a good reminder that you have to care for yourself mentally as well as physically! Looking forward to a solid run tomorrow morning though!

Day 6. I've been not so good about staying on track but today for the first time in a long time I went on a run and bought some fresh groceries so I'm hoping I can get back on track and stay there!
