Ok ok hear me out. So Gillian Anderson starred in Hannibal nbc between 2013 and 2015, right? Right. We know she came back to the X Files for 2 more seasons in 2016-2018, right? Right.

So when she says this line in the last season of the X files,

1) I will assume she is NOT thinking Anthony Hopkins since *cough cough*

2) she is absolutely the right person to make that comparison/little inside joke for those who know her filmography

How does one keep going on after 7x11 Closure ?

highschool/college au. hannibal keeps trying to hang out with will, will keeps finding excuses not to. finally one day will blurts "my mom says i can't" and quickly shuffles off.

hannibal knocks on his door later on, containers of a homecooked meal in hand. will answers, bewildered. hannibal just smiles.

"evidently, i have discovered you do not have a mother, therefore our obstacle is overcome. may i come in?"
