Not sure at all how I feel about this 😭

If it was made to simply be an appreciation of the Backyardigans then ok! That’s cute and I love it! If it’s their attempts to reboot the Backyardigans, especially so soon after the creator has passed, then I really don’t like it.

It’s just a very icky feeling when stuff like this is done for the sole purpose of profiting off the copyright they still have on the series.

In terms of the style, it’s kinda cute? In a very uncanny soulless way 😭 I think my opinions are very mixed right now until we know what exactly the intentions behind the banner change, new models and song remake all are. Because I don’t think they’d go through the effort of making new models, remaking the song, and animating a whole music video with detailed background if they weren’t intending to use it again :/

Here's my work of the deceased creator of my childhood show "The Backyardigans" featuring Pablo, Tyrone, Uniqua, Tasha and Austin, they're so really sad about her loss :(

Janice Burgess passed away at 72 about 3 days ago after 72th birthday due to the Breast Cancer.
