My setup to take audio off a VHS tape. The AV sound from the VCR is connected to the right input of my JVC sound system, the right output is then connected (by speaker wire) to the exposed wiring of my EA microphone, which is connected to my school-given Chromebook, and is recorded by bandlab.com.

I found a VHS tape of my dad touring their newly build house, except he doesn’t talk at all and just walking through. So basically it looks like an analog horror video from an ARG. The entire time we were watching it I was expecting something to jump out of the shadows, but he was confused about that so I had to explain analog horror to him.

I’ll try to publish the video on here or YouTube at some point when I convert it to digital.

When my sister graduated high school, I inherited her 15+ year old PT Cruiser convertible. I’ve had it for about 2 years now and it barely works. The check engine light is always on, it won’t start without being jump-started, and it drives like a car on its last leg.

Well, ever since I got it, I always say that it should be buried because my family never actually use it. And now I feel like it’s mad at me. I feel like I’ve been seeing more and more PT Cruisers, like it cursed me or something. It’s starting to be like the relic your estranged great uncle was incredibly protective over. Not because he thought someone would damage it, but because it might hurt someone.
