This is the most boring piece of shit I have ever laid my eyes upon purely for the "I want to feel like playing "Superior Space Marines"-Space Marines". The only interesting thing in here is a single stratagem for counter-charging - and that alone sure does not save it.

Once again proves that Space Marine chapters counting as their own armies was a mistake. It might even be viable but dang if it is not uninspired and boring as fuck.

If there is one thing the rancid shithole once known as r/HorusGalaxy (for those not in the know, the dedicated "free speech anti woke" subreddit for warhammer where people proudly posted models with freehand swastikas painted onto them)has done for us: it has provided the ultimate conversation derailer of "How's the divorce going?"

You don't need to put up with the bullshit of a pretend argument that will never change their mind and only exist to give them publicity. Just post/reference to this:

The saddest part when making GSC lists is having to cut the Patriarch - outside of Biosanctic broodsurge and his baller enhancement there he is just not reliable enough.

Quite the indicator for how bad the Codex is designed when the only Epic Hero, the "Mandatory Warlord and super-cool faction leader" is only worth it in a single detachment. It generally is a problem: they made it so many of our few units only really work in ONE detachment. You can take 1000p worth of melee "muscle beach", but now the other half of your army falls apart because they no longer have the buffs they are designed around having.

Host of Ascension gets around that by focussing on deep-strike gameplay, which is less about unit efficiency and more about positioning and screening. Don't care if my unit underperforms in when it hits where it hurts regardless. It only needs one OC on your homefield to completly flip the primary game.

Still feels weird to only have access to half of your units really.

Commander Dante

Dante is the current Chapter Master of the Blood Angels, one of the most experienced and able Space Marine commanders. In no small part, this is due to the longevity of the Blood Angels, which he has ruled for 1,100 years. Dante is the oldest living Space Marine in the Imperium (excluding Dreadnoughts) and is held in awe by leaders of other Chapters, who can remember him being a famous commander when they were in the Scout Company.

So I made a Blood Angel Captain with Jumppack I am meant to be doing DnD painting but I didn't. I did this. Custom head, backpack, arms and pads. I really like how it came out. Don't often say nice things about my own work... Yes I have noticed the wings look like Goldar. Ha.

We’re changing the name of Death Bed from Death Bed: A Souls-like RPG to Death Bed: An Impenetrably Medieval Dungeon Game. It is quickly developing a similar level of “immersive sim” depth to Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy wherein yeah the PCs are exploring a dungeon and trying to come out with treasure but also their personalities and relationship to each other as well as the emotional stress of the situation have a mechanical effect. All of this and the characters you create will be medieval people not modern people, with rules and mechanics and information to encourage portraying them as such (and yes it is different and matters)
