I’ve been rewatching The Saddle Club (free on YouTube btw) and it’s basically Grey’s Anatomy for horse loving children

Also, because the writers did their best to make Lisa’s life an absolute living hell in the first season. Aside from her awful mom, she almost died three times that season. Not only that, but Veronica was out for her hide for most of that time.
Watching The Saddle Club as an adult is weird because I just want to tell Lisa to stand up for herself. But, the reality is although I wanted to be like Stevie and Carol I was a lot like Lisa, and asserting yourself with a mother who likes the idea of you much more than the reality of you is easier said than done.
