A reminder of our awards!

We're just a few days away, and we've already talked about awards a couple times now, but we wanted give some examples for the kind of things you can expect:

For anyone who signs up, leaves some comments and/or shares some works, you may claim a customized award banner with a summary of all your contributions! If/when you complete the summary form, you may request a banner, at which point we will make and email it straight to your inbox ASAP.

Additionally, for anyone who does something they've never done before, you can claim a token! On that same summary form, you may tell us anything new you did, whether that be your first fic, first drabble, fanart, meta, fan-food, zine, or even left your first comment!

Pat yourself on the back and tell everyone how well you did. You can put these anywhere, share them with your friends, parents, pets, and even strangers on the street!

For cases where spacing or layout become an issue, such as in the cases of longer usernames on the tokens or more than six types of fanwork on the banners, we may reach out to you with some options and work with you to find an award that you're satisfied with.

As we head into the final days of the inaugural round of Be A Goldfish, we have a few things to share!

First, we're opening the Summary and Awards Form for anyone who participated in leaving comments and/or sharing works. You don't have to respond right away, it will stay open until 7 July. We'll remind you a few times, too.

Second, we have a little Post-Bang Survey. This is our first event and while we really enjoyed running it, we know there's room for improvement. Here's your chance to anonymously share your thoughts. All respondees welcome, regardless of participation. This will also stay open until 7 July.

Third, we will be sharing all of the Entry Responses. Originally, we planned on compiling a tidy masterlist on our own but with nearly 150 total works, that's just too many for us to do by hand! So we are sharing the response Sheet. We encourage you to peruse, perhaps you will find some you missed! Your new favorite could be just a few clicks away.

If you don't see your work(s) on the response list, now's the time to get those in by submitting an Entry Form so we can make sure everything gets tallied up properly for our stat summary to be shared afterward.

TGIF! Drumroll, please: welcome to the final week of the first-ever Be A Goldfish: A Ted Lasso Multimedia Microbang. We've had an incredible round, full of fun, friendship, and fanworks, and participants have collectively created over one hundred works! Let's keep the spark alive in these last few days with two more prompts. Give one a whirl, try both, or mix it up and blend them. Write a fic, make art, or try something totally new! Check out our FAQ for inspiration.

How do people outside the Ted Lasso gang perceive the goings-on at AFC Richmond? Create with that external perspective in mind.

Put your fins together for week seven of Be A Goldfish: A Ted Lasso Multimedia Microbang! We've had another week of fic, fun, fandom, and goldfish. How about another prompt to keep things fresh? Actually, how about two? Give one a whirl, try both, or mix it up and blend them!

Focus on a minor character. You know, a character who doesn’t get much love, or somebody who shows up for only an episode or two, or a background character. Who are they? What are they like? Why do you feel connected to them? Get nitty-gritty.

AND/OR:

Epistolary. Create a work in the medium of correspondence; a fic written in letters or emails, for example, or a manipulated text chain. Social media AUs work too.
